My daughter bought this camera because it was cheap; you get what you pay for. The install instructions that came with it were not accurate, the driver that supposedly came with it didn't work, the driver download didn't work. After at least an hour we finally found a driver and got the camera to work but the picture was upside down. Spending a few extra dollars would have saved much aggravation!

i hate this webcam, it's ugly too, in the picture it's white & a nice blue, but the real thing is gray/offwhite and gross blue. The image is also really blurry, idk y, noelse complained about that though so maybe it's just mine. It was easy to install though, but don't get this, i got this for christmas and overall i HATE IT!

My mom and i just bought it out of the blue we didnt read any reviews or anything i installed and it was pretty good not excellent but it does the job i guess ^_^

Jasco builds this unit and offers no technical support. I worked for 3 hours to use it for something other than MSN or Microsoft networking (software for these comes with the unit). Jasco told me I had to contact "somebody else" for technical support for use of easy cam with any other provider. Help boards are minimal and no answers for conecting/using with others - such as SKYPE or AOL. All I ever got was a light showing camera was connected and a black screen.

I just got this webcam, and let me tell you. If you do not have the bucks to get one of those 200 dlls Apple iSight cams. Then this is for you. To install it under Mac OS X 10.4 just get the latest drivers from the [macam project] , also you can try the [iChatUSBcam] application as well to get it work under iChat.

The motion and the video color are not excellent... but... What would you expect from 20 dlls.

I had to reinstall XP and lost the cam and had to reinstall the disc that comes with the cam. But it keeps telling Me it cant find the driver but had Me restart the computer after using the disc to install it. If anyone can help Me here please do so. I can be reached at www.gcn.cx its a chat program very small to d/l even if you use dial up it only takes less than 1 minute. Look for Stormcell in the "locate" icon and thank you for your time.

The ring around the camera that makes the image clearer works great, and the camera overall is good quality at such a low price. The only problem is that it does not stay standing up when perched on top of flatscreens, but that is not a big issue with the camera mechanics.

Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted my software when i reformatted by computer as well. If somebody has it could they please send it to me?

I am very happy with my new GE web cam. the reason I only give it 4 out of 5 stars is that you do need a little additional light when using at night. I found that a little $10 halogen desk lamp also from target.com provides enough additional light. Works fantasticly with daylight thought. A great buy from 20 bucks.
