They just aren't as nice as the pricier J.A. Henckels knives...but they aren't as pricey either. I have this set in my picnic bucket, so I'm not taking my pricey knives on picnics and yet I have knives that are adequate to the task on an outing with us. For that, they work well, or for someone on a tight budget. If you can afford the more expensive *quality* knives, then I'd pass over these in favor of those.

I love these knives. My husband and I use them on a daily basis. We have had them for three monthes and I think we have used at least one everyday. If you cook at home often, I would highly recommend buying them. They cut through everything nicely.

I've had 3 sets of these knives for at least 5 years and maybe longer. I use them many times every day & keep them all in a plastic cup in my cupboard to make them very easy to get to.

No problems at all. No rust at all. They are still as sharp as the day I got them. I always reach for them & rarely use my "good knives". They just aren't as "good" as these little Henckels ones - not even as good as my more pricey Henckels ones.

These knives are nice and sharp and help with many tasks. However, they rusted within a few days, starting within the plastic handle and moving down. This is NOT the Henckels I've depended on over the years. I've had less rusting from another stores paring knives.

I use these for all my fruits and vegetables, because they are so sharp. They will easily cut through anything without having to "saw" through it, like I had to with my old knives.
