I love these natural finish mission tables! I've searched everywhere for a good set of tables in a light natural finish; and these are extactly what I've been searching for. It seems like the only table sets you can find now in other stores have a dark finish, black, or chrome and glass. I really prefer this light natural wood finish. Also, these tables are a perfect size. Most of the other table sets I've seen in furniture stores are WAY too big and take all the space of your room. These fit perfectly and look high quality.
I bought the natural finish mission coffee table and 2 end tables. They are very sturdy solid wood and they hold a wax shine very well. The tables assemble very easily, I didn't have any problems at all. The holes were all aligned perfectly. I recommend using a phillips-head screwdriver bit in your drill; that way you can screw these tables together in just a few minutes.
I plan on buying the natural mission 4 shelf bookcase. I just hope I can find an entertainment center in a natural finish to match this collection.
Overall, I'm VERY happy with this purchase.

I purchased three of these for our living room. It is so difficult to find tables in light wood around here. The tables were easy to assemble (my fifteen year old daughter assembled all three in about an hour) and they are super sturdy! They look so clean and simple in the room and clutter-y stuff like magazines are still in easy reach on the lower shelves, but somewhat shielded from sight. If I could change one thing, I'd have them about two inches taller, but I'm happy with them nonetheless.

I recently purchased three of these end tables for my old home I was going for a mission style, and let me say the quality for the price is wonderful. They are a little on the short side but I think they will go great with a slightly taller lamp.I also purchased the console table and the coffee table to complete the look in our livingroom.I cant wait for the holidays when I can show the room off to family and friends! thanks Target

My parents purchased this table for me when I moved into my own place in college. We were shocked by how heavy and sturdy it was considering its price and the fact that it was just held together by a few hex bolt and screws. It looks great too. Have no fear of this being a wobbling, cheap table. The matching coffee table is just as great.

i have had this table for a while. i first used it to hold my tv in my bedroom, putting the dvd player and my dvds in the bottom part of it. now it serves as a side table holding my lamp and clock. the color makes it look very savvy, and it's easy to move around. i would recommend this to anyone!

Here's how to make this table sturdy

This table is nicely designed and made of solid wood, not veneers. The only problem is that when you use the nuts and bolts provided by the manufacturer to assemble it, you end up with a very wobbly table. I went to a hardware store and bought Titebond wood glue and wood dowels to replace the nuts and bolts, and I glued instead of screwed the table together. Then I noticed that it still wobbled somewhat, so I went to a craft store and bought 1/2" square wood strips, cut 2 of them to fit, and glued them under the shelf where the shelf met the side panels. Now the table is rock solid. When cutting the wood strips, I suggest making them 1-1/2" shorter than the actual length of the table, then centering them so there is a 3/4" space on each side. That way, the 1/2" strips won't be visible; if visible, they mar the aesthetics of the design a bit. Also, what's good about Titebond is that it stays wet for a long time, so you have time to put the various pieces together and adjust them.

This little table is surprisingly sturdy and solid. It's fairly short, no where close to the typical height of an end table or nightstand, but it works alright with my lower leather couches and platform guest bed.
I've moved three times with this and it stands up to the wear and tear very well. I'm quite pleased.

Good short term pieces, but shop clearance sales first!

If you're in the market for an inexpensive end table AND this one's on sale with free shipping (as it was for us), this is a great interim piece. We bought a lot of this mission-style furniture: coffee table, computer desk, end tables, bookshelves in different styles, and liked it pretty well (for the most part) when we got them. They were pretty sturdy and looked good and were fairly easy to assemble. We probably would have given them four stars initially. We have since moved. The coffee table and end tables scare me now (we have an infant who will start moving at some point) since they are shaky. My husband does not care for the bookshelves, either, but they survived the move and still hold books with no major issues. The coffee table, on the other hand, is sitting in the living room with its top off because it "threw" one of the bolts, and the end-tables are wigglier than ever. Are they fixable, yes, but I have noticed that "real" furniture, on clearance, is actually priced in this range. We probably just should have waited for a good buy [...] before purchasing the coffee table and end tables. As a result, in terms of quality and longevity, this product is not a good choice. If you expect to keep your coffee table a yearish, or maybe longer, but do not anticipate moving, this is actually not a bad find.
