Everyone should know what a terrible vacuum this is... the suction does not work on the wings, only in the very center. Imagine trying to vacuum a living room with a 1 inch wide vacuum, and you'll know how frustrating this thing is. For the same money, I was much happier with my old
Eureka (although, it fell apart after 2 years of daily use).

I would say this vacuum sucks but it doesn't. Get it? This vacuum is a piece of junk. There is a TINY piece of metal attaching the handle to the vacuum. The vacuum does not stay upright by itself always so it fell over and the handle broke off. I have not been able to fashion a screw or anything else to it so I cannot use it at all. This vacuum does NOT fit underneath furniture. It is very loud. It blows more dust around than actually sucks it up. What a waste of money.

Update: If I could give this less than one star I would.

This vacuum really doesn't pick anything up. It makes a lot of noise--but that's it. Small things like pieces thread do not get sucked up. I bought this because the price was low. I feel like I should spent more to get a REAL vacuum cleaner.

I bought this vacuum because I'm a guy, and I'm lazy. So i don't like sweeping the floors, plus I own a dog. It does its job for the price, but it doesn't really pick everything up like its supposed to. Suction power from the sides of the vacuum its bad, plus it blows air from the bottom of the motor. So I can see hairballs flowing up in the air before I even get to vacuum them. If you are vacuuming one side of the room, the other side is getting tons of air making the dust flow right up in the air. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who has pets.

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Vents on the side of the vac blow air out so hard that anything you're trying to pick up is quickly blown into the air only to settle again moments later. Suction is horrible! Hopefully Target will allow me to exchange for a product t hat does what it is supposed to.

I bought this so that I could easily vacuum up dog fur and dust bunnies around the house. It has a lot of suction but it is very loud and it really does blow the dog fur and dust bunnies all around. I fear for folks who have allergies because you will be breathing in all of that dust. I doesn't work at all on rugs or carpet. Also, it doesn't fit under the sofa or entertainment center. I end up bringing my bulky canister cleaner out aanyway...
Save your money, don't buy this vac!

This is the best electric broom I've ever had. We have 2 constantly shedding dogs, and it picks up all hair and dirt from our tiled kitchen and hardwood floors with ease, and even works for a little light pickup on carpet. But the best part is my husband loves using it so much, he's been vacuuming every day! Don't know whether it's the power (12 amps) or the instant gratification he gets from seeing the collected doghair through the clear bagless container, but ladies, if you want your husband to do more housework, get him a he-man tool like this! To the manufacturer: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU - this is my dream come true.

sure, this little guy isn't adequate for for big or thorough jobs, but as a quick, powered alternative to sweeping it's very convenient.

I have several cats and hardwood floors, so my place tends to collect catfur tumbleweeds in corners and on the stairs every couple of days. dragging my vacuum out and up and down the stairs is a colossal pain, and sweeping tosses the light debris everywhere (and my youngest cat tries to play with the broom and flying dust). this small, light cleaner scoops up the furballs easily, and I can whoosh through all of the high traffic areas in a short time.

this item is more of a dustbuster without the bending and kneeling than it is a vacuum, so of course I wouldn't recommend it as a replacement for a higher priced, proper vacuum. but if you have kids, cats, or other mess makers in your place and just need an extra helper for little jobs, this will do the job quickly and conveniently.

Vac is very loud! What is with all the blowing air?? Blows the dirt away before you can vacuum it up. ANNOYING!!! I find emptying the canister very difficult. If you don't have it all lined-up perfectly it won't snap back into place. I would not recommended buying this product.

This thing doesn’t pick up anything, it just moves cramps and dirt from one spot to another! After this experience I don’t think I will ever buy anything with from Dirt Devil brand. Doesn't deserve even one star.
