I ended up returning the vacuum. It had plenty of suction for a quick pick up and was nice and light and manueverable, but it was so loud we needed earplugs.

When folks write this lil' machine makes Lear jet noises I thought they are over-exaggerating - but NOPE this is one LOUD and VERY powerful machine. We have 2 furry dogs and use it often & quickly (seriously the sound is deafening!) to spot clean the floors, not so easy to maneuver on carpet but, on flooring it will take off on you if your not holding on it's that powerful! So mixed reviews 5 for power & efficiency but 1 on sound/noise quality.

This vaccum cleaner is light to carry and easy to assemble. I even don't need to read a manual to set up. But the noise is very loud like an airplane. The first time I used at my mother-in-law's house after I set up and we did not know how terrible of the noise. I should bring ear puffs with me! It killed my ears.

Also, it doesn't suck my hair and crumb on hard floor. Maybe my hair just fall out after I turn off the vacuum cleaner.

I will not recommend this product.

I picked this up for my temporary apartment. I regret it. I would've much rather bought a "real" vacuum cleaner [...]. I doesn't do anything!

This vacuum is a total waste of money - no matter how cheap it is. It only picks up dirt/crumbs that are in the very middle of the vacuum head, and the vents blow any remaining dirt around. Unless you have nothing better to do and want to vaccum over the same area 2 or 3 times, I would never recommend this product to anyone!!! Also is very loud. I have only enjoyed this product to see it jump when you first start it.

I like how it picks things up (I'm always vacuuming bird seed), and I like how light and portable it is, regardless of it needing to be plugged into a wall socket. ****However, I hate how loud it is; and the wind that exhausts from the side vents blows anything that's shin-level to the floor...including blowing around any light dust you're trying to pick up!!!!**** How dumb is that?!?!? I actually did a jerry-rig, and taped V-shaped cone-like pieces of paper over the side vents to direct the wind upward. That remedied blowing things around, but now I can dry my hair and sinuses at the same time!!!! All-in-all it does the job I need it to do, but I wouldn't buy it again without design alterations . . . are ya listenin' Dirt Devil????

Ok...yes...it's loud...very loud...but if you are looking for a small & lightweight vac that has super strong suction this is the one for you! We use this in a small condo at the shore and it does a wonderful job sucking up all the sand and dirt we track in from the beach. It works great on carpet and tile. We don't have pets so I'm not sure how it does in that area. We've been very happy with our purchase.

Yep its loud & breezy in the back but....I had my husband put a small piece of plastic on the back and divert the air. But it sucks up like a champ. 2 cats one VERY HAIRY cousin of Cujo Newfoundland and a house full of boys and toys & hardwood floors through out the house. I can do all the hardwood and area rugs in minutes and the dust cup cleans up easier then the full size bagless vac. I say put on your Ipod and get the house work done in half the time.

I was impressed with how powerful this little vac is. It does a fantastic job on hard floors and a pretty good job on carpeting. It's easy to use and lightweight.
It is bagless but it's necessary to shake the filter out after each use which can be messy and kind of gross.
Great for small apartments or quick clean ups but I would avoid this vaccuum if you have sensitive ears or young children--it is really loud.

I got this 3 months ago. I ran it on my freshly (Bissell)vacuumed carpets and was amazed at the volume of what it picked up.We don't have an outside area to bang and clean the filter(the dumpster is far), if I cleaned it thouroughly with each use it would be outstanding. My 1 year old used to love vacuuming time, but since he heard this he developed a fear of all vacuums. It is the loudest vacuum I've ever heard and that is a lot. There is no carpet beater and when I use it on hard floors, the wind out the side blew the crumbs around. Not good with moist chunks under the high chair either, but is very manuverable.
