It's very powerful for being so lightweight. It does a good job of picking everything up. Finding replacement filters has not been easy. They are always sold out.

This is a powerful stick vac that goes easily from bare floors to carpets and has good suction. The only thing that disappointed me was that the pin that holds the handle on snapped about a year after I bought it and I couldn't find my receipt to see if it was under warranty. I have tried everything to keep the handle in place (glue, tape, putty) with no luck. It falls off and lands hard because the bottom of the vacuum is heavy.

I got vacuum as a wedding Gift 1 year ago... i regret having in my wedding list from target..
TOO loud for such a small vacuum. loss suction after the 5th used. have no kids no pets indoor.. meaning i never vacuum... i can see small trash on carpet will go over 10 times and will not work and ended up picking up my self with my hands.

Bought this today at target even though some of the reviews sounded bad.It is loud but not any louder than some vacs I have owned. I have 2 cats and a border collie--hair hair everywhere. tired of lugging my huge pet eraser vac out or chasing hair around with a broom and dust pan. It really sucked up the hair off my tile and laminate floors. it does seem a bit on the flimsy side --not one to bang around. Day 1 and I am pleased

I bought this product becuase it was cheap and I only have one room with carpeting that I use it on. It picks up pet hair pretty well off of my carpet but like other reviewers have said it is VERY loud. I like that it is small and I can easily hang it in my closet where it is unseen and out of the way. This is not a heavy duty product. It's great for light cleaning.

The person who claimed that their vacuum is not loud must not hear very well. This thing is LOUD, like ear piercing loud. If I vacuum down a little hallway where the downstairs bathroom is, it echos and is even worse. Maybe the vacuum is quieter on carpet?
It also blows dust and dog hair around like crazy. Our vacuum is assembled correctly (a reason the previous reviewer gave for other people having this problem). I literally have to chase dog hair around the room. It not only moves around on the floor but flies INTO THE AIR! The air that blows out of the sides of the vacuum is very powerful. I have a shedding St Bernard so I have to use this thing several times a week. It is definitely NOT worth the money. Unless you enjoy a deafening whine from your vacuum and chasing hairballs around.
The positive, it does have a strong suction.

I have [bad] luck with Vacuums. Three vacuums ago, I had a pretty nice one, and managed to lose it (and I have no idea how I lost it).

The one after that was a Bissell, and it was okay, but one day started clogging in the lines, and I couldn't fix it on my own...

So, between shopping for my present vacuum, and still needing to vacuum my floors (I have three parrots and a six year old little girl), I picked up one of these.

I'll start with the good - it sucks up parrot pellets pretty [...] well. It gets the carpet reasonably clean, as well as the linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. It doesn't clean as well as a full upright, but I didn't think it would, so I'm not going to hold that against it.

It's also very light, which is nice, and the canister is easy to pop out and put back in.

There are two things that I don't really like about this vacuum.

The first - you can't detach the main part and use it as a hand vac. I have a friend that has a stick vac that has that option (but this has much better suction).

And the second, which it seems a lot are in agreement on, is the noise. Again, having other sticks to compare it with, I'm amazed at how loud this thing is. Two of my parrots don't mind it too much, and my daughter just closes her door, but my cockatoo...well, it freaks him out, and he adds to it with his screams!!! ACK!!!

BUT, if you can handle the noise, have a relatively small area to clean, and don't have pets that would be offended, this is a pretty good vacuum. Even better if you have someone who'll borrow you an upright every month for a more thorough cleaning.

So, the power for the price is awesome, but four stars because of the noise.

This little stick vac is a screamer! It is not safe to use without ear protection. And the cleaning power is concentrated in just the central section of the cleaning head. Did not get dirt from corners very well at all. Returned it and got a Hoover model that is much quieter and more effective.

Very powerful, but is super loud and the vents blow the dirt & dust your trying to vacuum up everywhere! Get something better.

We have two shorthaired dogs that spend a lot of time in our large tiled kitchen and shed A TON. This machine is not for carpet and should not be confused with a vacuum cleaner, but it works wonderfully picking up every last bit of dirt and hair from our tile and hardwood floors in place of a broom or dust mop. We've been using it almost every day for over a year now without any problems. It is pretty loud, but it's super-powerful so there's the trade-off...I'd rather have the power. It's easy to empty and I like the clear plastic dirt cup so you know when it's full.
