Kids like to be GROSSED OUT November 24, 2006 Reviewer:  D. Kolb "momx3" Real Name (Dallas, TX)  See all my reviews >

This game is really good for kids of varying ages. Kids have to find an object in Ned's Head by touch alone - it is a sensory game. Kids draw a card and then need to search in the head for the object. The plastic objects vary from a mouse, nail, tooth, fried egg to a frog, worm, used q-tip, and vomit! Good for young kids who can't read yet. It's perfect for my 4 yr old. And can still challenge my 11 yr old. Even my 2 year old will try. Fun for the whole family!!

FUN AND CHANGEABLE, FUN FOR YOUNGER KIDS, TOO November 11, 2007 Reviewer:  Mom of 2 "Amanda S." (Maryland Heights, MO USA)  See all my reviews >

My sister bought this, used but still in the box and in good condition, at a thrift store. The cards have pictures and words on them. My 2 kids (2 & 5, boy and girl) and her grandson (4) LOVE this game. The head is made from a fleece-like fabric, so play with nice clean hands or you'll have some stain issues! Not sure if it can be washed? But that's the ONLY complaint. All the items are 'gross' but fun, like a creepy spider, a squishy spaceman, and even...fake vomit! The blank cards mean you can add other items to Ned's head yourself, making the game different when you're tired of the same old items. You could even take photos of various items/toys/etc., and put those things inside his head, too. You can vary the rules for younger kids vs. older kids. Not sure how educational this is, except for tactile recognition--but does EVERYTHING have to be educational??? Nah. Just have some fun with your kids. They won't be little forever.

4 year old girl LOVES it! January 31, 2007 Reviewer:  Mother of delighted child "Denise G" (El Cerrito, CA)  See all my reviews >

Santa brought this game for our four-year-old daughter and she hasn't stopped playing with it since. Every day, we hear, "Can we play Ned's Head?" She absolutely loves it. And now her friends are starting to ask their parents for it too! It's a big hit!!

Too much fun December 4, 2006 Reviewer:  lafkat (Detroit, Michigan)  See all my reviews >

I bought this for 2 of my nephews, both just turned 4.. and they LOVED it. The "grossness" of it is what they love so much. It is well made and lots of fun.

What's in Ned's Head Game December 29, 2008 Reviewer:  L. P. Carvajal Real Name (Bronxville, NY United States)  See all my reviews >

We received this game from Santa and my daughter has a blast playing this game and Horton game. the game is simple you give out cards say your ready, and then say "What's in Ned's Head". Then you look for the items in Ned's heard. The items in Ned's head giant ant, Ned's lunch, visiting Alien, spider, frog, dirty diaper, giant dirty q-tip, rat, screw, tongue, etc. The game is good for children 4 and up to 6, since it helps a child identify things without seeing the items, you have to feel them to identify them. Which is hard for children at this stage of life. The game also provide empty cards that give you the option to add your own objects. Which I believe is more for a children 6 and older to identify with. Some of the items in Ned's head is sticky like the bird poop with worms, but the rest of the items are all plastic. Ned's head is a tent like game that has openings in it's ears and mouth. I think it's a cute game for children who are not game people, and something that the family can enjoy playing. We play it about 3 to 4 times a day, and then play Horton game in between.

Has potential to be good, but misses the mark December 25, 2008 Reviewer:  MommaMia "Sondra C" (Lincoln, NE)  See all my reviews >

Got this for my 2 year old and almost 5 year old to play. I would say the game is just OK. The large plastic objects (spider, frog, dirty diaper, giant dirty q-tip, etc), are easy to identify so I feel this game would be too easy for anyone over 6 or 7. However, there are empty cards that give you the option to add your own objects. You could get more life out of the game by adding your own objects that may be harder to identify. Ned's head is more of a tent like "pop up" structure covered in soft material. So the inside is one big open space which again makes it pretty easy to find stuff, as all the objects are together. It isn't fluffy or compartmentalized like you might think. Might be good for special needs children who respond to tactile stimulation (if you don't mind the gross factor).
