We are constantly going through batteries with this CD player, My 5 year old daughter loves it and it works great, but it doesn't shut off by itself. When the CD ends the display shows until you push a button to turn it off and my 5 year old never remembers and since Christmas we have gone through so many batteries because of this. I would recommend a CD player with an automatic shut off for kids and not this model!!!!

Dang wen I saw this cd player I knew I had to get it. What so ever I never had a problem with it so i dont noe wat yall peeps be talking about. I collect every hello kitty item I can get my hands on. I'll never get over it:)!

I received this as a christmas gift a few years back. As a fan of Hello Kitty I have alot of Hello Kitty products and more than a few of them ended up being pieces of junk. I was surprised how well this CD player works. I use it everyday and I have accidentally dropped it a number of times and it still works like new. If it stopped working today I would buy another one, none of my other CD players have lasted this long.

This CD Player is user friendly for young girls - my daughter, age 9, has no problem operating it.
It's only been 1 week so I can't say how long it will last but she has used it for several hours per day and it's holding up so far!

My daughter received this CD player for her birthday and truly loved it! She was thrilled with the Hello Kitty design and was very careful with it. Needless to say, as soon as the warranty period was up, it stopped working. We've tried everything we can think of from changing batteries to cleaning w/ a CD lens cleaner....nothing works. We're bummed that such a pricey object didn't last very long. All the reviews I had read prior to purchase talked of its durability. It doesn't seem worth it to pay more in postage and repair than it would to replace it.
