I bought this motorcycle for my son this summer. He was 16 months old at the time and had no problem riding it. He is average sizefor his age and his feet were able to reach the ground. He still loves this motorcycle and rides almost everday, inside and outside. It is extremely durable, the wheels are still in very good shape. This is the perfect motorcycle for a little one who wants a motorcycle like Mommy and Daddy's.

I purchased this toy 2 years ago and was extremely satisfied with the toy's durability and ease of use. Step 2 toys are so great, esp since they have few (if any) metal parts and can, if need be, be left outside. My kids love this toy.

I bought this for my son's first B-Day and was rather upset with it. My son who is in the 75th percentile for his hieght couldn't even touch the ground once he was sitting on it. Not to mention it is in no way stable, it tips over almost as soon as you touch it. It's age rating is completely wrong it should be for a 2 to 3 year old. I don't recomend this for anyone wanting to buy it for a child that is under 35 inches tall.

We purchased this for our 2 1/2 year old boy at christmas, and ended up with 2 since the grandparents also got one. Decided to keep them both since we also had a 5 year old, and that turned out to be such a great decision. They played with them in the basement some that winter, but when summer came and they took them out to the driveway the REAL fun began! It's now more than a year later and those motorcycles are still the absolute FAVORITE thing to race down the driveway (helps that it's paved and slopes toward the house)! I cannot imagine they could be put to any tougher durability test, and they are still holding up strong. The kids are now 4 and 6 and still love them, and nobody has ever gotten hurt. I love that there are no sounds, batteries, small parts that break. Sure they don't steer (I'm sure they are more durable for this reason), and a very young child may occasionally tip over, but it's not far to fall and you can always wait till they are old enough to have better balance. My son had absolutely NO problems managing safely at 2 1/2. Overall, a great toy for the money that has lasted years and continues to be a favorite.

We bought this for our son when he turned one. He is now almost six. He has always loved it. He could not ride it without assistance in the beginning. His brothers and sister would push him around on it. But once he could touch the ground, he just took off. He would zoom up and down the sidewalk. Just in the last year he has started to get too big for it, but he still pulls it out and rides around on it occasionally.

We bought this for our son when he was 18 months old. He'll be 3 next month and he loves it just as much now as he did then! He has put many miles on his bike and it's still in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this product.

My son got this for his birthday. The wheels are pretty wide, but it tips over very easily. It now sits in our backyard and he rarely gets on it.

I sent this bike to a friend for her sons birthday. It is sooooo cute and my girls had a similar toy (except it was a pony w/ wheels) and they loved it. Well my friend put it together and she put the wheels on wrong. She thinks that she snapped them on too tight, but anyway, she couldn't get them back off to fix it. Her husband (a handyman) couldn't get the wheels back off to fix it either. So the wheels wouldn't turn. She said it was really cute but after the wheel misshap it was ruined before her son even had a chance to ride it. She sent it back but was afraid to get another one and mess up the wheels again. So FYI be careful not to press the wheels on too tight.

My son is obsessed with motorcycles and I thought this would be a *perfect* birthday gift for his second birthday. Unfortunately it was a total bust. It's just too easy for him. It would have been perfect 6 months ago when he was 18 months. If your child is advanced physically (walked before a year old, climbs up as high as he can go, can hop on one foot), this is not the toy for your kid. It's cute, it's durable and it'd be perfect for some toddlers, just not for my rough and tumble boy who is riding a scooter already. However, my 3 year old nephew loved it. I think it depends on the fearless level of the kid. Mine is going to give me a heart attack before he's 10 so this toy wasn't a good pick.

I was very disappointed in this motorcycle for my 2 1/2 year old son. Thank goodness he rode it in our home, because he fell a few times while riding it. The steering wheel does not move. I do not feel like it was worth the money spent, and I would not recommend this product to anyone mainly due to a lack of safety.
