This was a wedding gift from my Grandmother. Not only does it look great - it works great. I had what I thought was a nice can opener but it is nothing compared to this! It has a strong magnet and is really easy to use. It is quite sturdy and looks nice sitting on the counter.

This is a larger size can opener that easily accomodates all can sizes...Heavy enough not to tip over...It's also one of the most attractive small appliances of this type that I've seen...Excellent Quality

This fits perfectly with my "retro" style black and white kitchen. It is sturdy and relatively easy to use. Make sure the unit is attached properly to the base before using...and yes keeping a paper towel handy is useful. This is compact, yet substantial, and tucks easily into a corner when not in use.

It's very nice to look at and goes with all our kitchen appliances, but it's performance has been subpar. It's hard to get it started. Once it does and gets finished, it splashes the liquid and makes such a mess. And the magnet is pathetic. I end up digging the lid out of the can every time.

I received this as a wedding gift and am pretty much satisfied in it. Although like others have said it does splash liquid at you when starting and finishing. I just have paper towel handy. Other than that it's a very good opener

Bought this as wedding gift for a dear friend, as it was in their registry on Target.. They love it, and can find only one thing, just a bit tipsy with tall, heavy cans. Aside from that, it's perfect! Thanks, Target, and congrats to my friend on her wedding.

I got this for a wedding gift in April '08. I haven't had any problems with it and I love the look of it. It looks so attractive in the kitchen, especially if you have all black appliances, it really looks sharp! One thing is that I noticed the blade beginning to rust a bit. I think that if you just be sure it is dry when you finish cleaning or using it that this shouldn't be an issue! Great item, recommended!

Recieved this as a wedding gift--works great! I broke our first electric can opener, but this one is much more sturdy and attractive, also doesn't tip over on the counter.

I tried all the other gadgets, including that can opener that cuts the leads off (awful!). This one works well but does pop out liquid sometimes when finished. Love the black color.

This opener works great, i have never tried the bottle opener or knife sharpener, but the opener works great. the magnet works pretty good, not awesome, but the opener is top notch.
