Lightweight decorative, easy install November 17, 2008 Reviewer:  Bargain Buyer (Yakima, WA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this not too long ago and to my surprise, the installation was quite easy and the lamp was more durable than I expected. It has survived a recent move and is still just as solid as it was the day I put it together.

Although it definitely won't withstand naughty children climbing on it, it has never wobbled or given me an indication that it would fall over (even on our new hardwood floors).

I also like the fact that it is lightweight so I can easily move it from place to place. Overall, this is a good choice for someone on a budget that is still wanting class and value.

DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP!!! September 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Target customer See all my reviews >

This lamp is horrible. I initially thought it was a good buy since it looked so attractive from the picture on the box(I guess that's called advertising). it's a lamp with shelves to display picture frames, candles, etc so i thought it was so creative. I also thought it was a decently priced. Well, you definitely get you pay for. First of all, it wasn't difficult to put together but it did take some time to screw all the legs together. Also, it looks cheap--it's made of plastic. It's not sturdy at all; it shakes very easily which means you can't put anything delicate on it as it may fall and break. Lastly and most importantly, the switch doesn't work!! It's plastic and you have to turn it about a 200 times before it clicks. It's supposed to use 3-way bulbs which means you're supposed to get 3 different watts but because the switch doesn't work properly, you only get one type of watt--if you can get the darn switch to click. Also, the lighting is bad. it doesn't illuminate any room. This lamp is a piece of junk. Spend a little extra and purchase a lamp that actually works. I'm just happy Target makes it very easy to return merchandise.

VERY CHIC and STURDY.....a must buy! January 12, 2009 Reviewer:  A. Thomas "Chic & Modern Mom" Real Name (Virginia)  See all my reviews >

I love this lamp because of the frosted glass shade and its shelves. You can put so many little decorations on it (please note it says it only holds 1 lb. per shelf). It is very affordable for a floor lamp!!!

Now the problem is...my toddler always loves playing around it and grabbing onto the poles....and one day i was in the kitchen and heard a loud crash ....only to find my lamp laying on its side with the frosted glass shade completely smashed!!!!!!! now if i could only find a shade to replace it....I don't want to have to buy a whole new one!

But that was my toddlers fault....not the lamps!

Pretty w/ a few problems September 8, 2008 Reviewer:  Godiva_Lover (Los Angeles, CA)  See all my reviews >

Once we assembled this lamp it looked great, however one little problem the switch was hard to turn on and off. It's also a bit tipsy, but I think it's meant for you to put objects on the tiers to keep it balanced:)

Tippy Legs September 7, 2008 Reviewer:  Jaycen's Mom "Annette J" (Chicago, IL)  See all my reviews >

I recieved 2 of these lamps as gifts from my wedding gift registry. I thought they looked good and would be practical, too, because of the built-in shelves. It's a good idea, but poor assembly. We just had our first baby and have to buy new lamps because our son is about to crawl and the thought of him bumping into these lamps in the slightest is just a terrifying accident waiting to happen. They are soooo unsteady!! I cannot get all 4 legs to stay on the ground at the same time!!

Great, Durable Lamp August 17, 2008 Reviewer:  PirateGal03 "PirateGal03" (North Carolina, USA)  See all my reviews >

I have two of these and have had them both for years. They haven't shown any signs of wear and haven't bent or become weaker in the 3+ years I've had them. They're great lamps! I love that I can use a 3-way bulb, and the up light is really nice. The shelves are large enough to be useful but not so large that they collect a lot of junk. I use one of these in my tiny apartment as a bedside table, the bottom shelf is large enough for an alarm clock, the second is large enough for my glasses and a bottle of water. The top shelf is large enough for my cell phone, keys and other things that need to be handy throughout the day.

Too big sadly July 28, 2008 Reviewer:  Neldine Ludwigson Real Name See all my reviews >

Was a nice attractive lamp, shelves seemed useful, but it was too wide for the area intended, went back :(

Unsturdy, switch doesn't work November 6, 2009 Reviewer:  JB See all my reviews >

This lamp looks great, but like other reviews, it is very unsturdy. There's no way you can put anything breakable or of value on the shelves safely. And the switch gave out after 4 months! The switch went from working fine, to only 2 settings working, then one... now it doesn't even work at all. It clicks and all, but does nothing. We have to plug and unplug the lamp to use it and it always stays at the medium light setting. Not worth it

Not looking good after a year... October 7, 2009 Reviewer:  E. Krahn Real Name (Springfield, VA)  See all my reviews >

When we first bought this lamp we were so happy with the way it looked. A little flimpsy but we did not expect a hard built lamp for the price. A few monts ago (in less than a year) the light started to fail. The light changes intensity on its own back and forth and then it settles. Obviosuly we have a problem with ours. I am ready for a new one since this is very annoying. This lamp is good for less than a year. I am dissapointed overall.

So far so good October 2, 2009 Reviewer:  USAF Wife "AF wife" (California)  See all my reviews >

I first saw this lamp at a friends house, I loved the look of it, and she had no complaints about it.
I finally bought this lamp about 2 weeks ago for our new home and it's looks great!
It was very easy to assemble, took about 10-15 minutes, it really takes more time to take it all out of the box than it does to assemble it.
It was a little unstable on my carpet, but after a few days it was fine.
Honestly the only problem I have is figuring out what little knick knacks to put on the shelves.
