Worth It

I bought this for my first child thinking he would sleep with me. It was too big for a full size bed with me and my husband but during the day we had it on the couch and it was the only thing he would sleep in. He stayed in it on the couch on trips anywhere it fit and never complained. It was a lifesaver especially away from home and the transition to crib. The only complaint is the nightlight never worked. Other than that it's great.

I purchased this for when my daughter gets fussy at night to keep her nearby incase I fall asleep trying to sooth her. The mattress is hard and feels very uncomfortable. This is also only perfect if you have a king size bed or bigger, if you want 2 adults and the baby to be on the bed at the same time. I also don't think it'll prevent adult rollover. It's nice having your baby sleep on the bed next to you but the baby is safer in the crib/bassinet/co-sleeper/playpen.

I have mixed opinions of it. I think it could be great...but it didn't work for us. It takes up more room in the bed than we thought, which makes it hard for my husband and I to get to sleep. Also, the mattress in it is not as soft as I would like. Every time our baby moves, it makes a lot of noise. There is a lot of peace of mind and convenience having your baby sleep so close and I always felt he was safe. But our son just makes too much noise, even in his sleep! All three of us sleep better without this.

We used it to put our baby girl to sleep on our sofa when we were in the living room. It kept her close by. I liked it because the walls were low enough it allowed me to keep checking on her, I could easily see her. Overall it was very usefull in the first couple of months, but not a replacement for a bassinet or a co-sleeper or a sidecar. It has some limitations, see below.
Some product limitations:
1. TOO SMALL for queen size bed, it doesn't leave enough room for 2 adults. We used it on a sofa instead.
2. NOT STANDARD sheets. Can't buy replacement sheets. The entire sheet doesn't come off to wash, only half. Makes it hard to keep it clean. We ended up using a blanket tucked in under the mattress.
3. DOESN'T KEEP LEVEL very well - baby keeps sliding either to the right side or down if your baby is squirmy like ours. You have to put it on a firm and level surface.
4. - Already mentioned by the manufacturer, only for babies up to 15 lbs or so, babies outgrow it fast. But it's greeat for the first couple of months.

This is a great item - but it isn't made for babies older than three months, I was really bummed that my son grew out of it so fast.

My sister-in-law lent us her sleeper and we have used it every night since bringing our daughter home from the hospital. While our daughter sleeps securely between my husband and I, we don't have to worry about her safety. During the day, we use it on the sofa for naps. It is also perfect for trips. We took it along while visiting my parents. Since she was use to sleeping in it, we didn't have any trouble putting her to sleep in a "strange" house. I highly recommend this for all new moms and have already purchased one for a friend who is expecting.

I purchased this for my daughter and her new baby. She was told in her 7th month of pregnacy that she had myotonic dsystrophy which affects the muscles. Six days after her baby was born she had a heart attack. My husband and I had to take care of the baby. Having the baby in our bed made it easy for us to take care of her. When my daughter came home it made it easy for her to help take care of her without having to get out of bed. This was a blessing for the whole family and the baby. It gave her a chance to bond with the baby in a safe way since her hands are weak.

I bought this item thinking it would be great but could never use it.
For small babies it looks like the matress pad is not soft enough... after one month my daughter would not fit in there anymore.

We received this item for our baby shower & thought it was great. It is a neat idea, but not very functional. We have a Queen size bed, but it made it seem like a twin bed, because it's kind of bulky.

We bought this because our bed is to tall for a cosleeper. My son is only 2 months old and way to long for it already and he kept kicking his leg onto the mesh siding (very wiggly baby). It is a very cute sleeper but would be better if they made the bottom adjustable for longer babies.
