I asked for this on my baby registry, and I was very disappointed when I used it. My baby never seemed comfortable at all. She always shifted off to one side on the mattress that wasn't very firm at all. It actually was quite lumpy and overall not very sturdy. I didn't feel comfortable using it on my bed. It just didn't feel safe. Perhaps it can be used on a flat surface. I would NOT recommend this product.

We received the family bassinet for our little one, which is no longer up to JPMA standards (the spindles are about 6" apart), so we got this sleeper to put in the bassinet. He sleeps fabulously in this, and while he is getting a little long for it, we will keep using it until we move him to the crib in his room. It is perfect for traveling to Grandmas' house as well - no risk of him falling off a couch or bed.
I do put a rolled up receiving blankets at the mesh panels though, to help keep his legs in the bed.

At first my baby (who is now 2 months and 7 lbs.) didn't seem to feel comfortable in it, like it wasn't as firm as her bassinett, but she later warmed up to it. I keep it in the bed next to me and we both love that we are close to one another. I didn't like how she seemed to slide to one side of the sleeper most of the time and how her legs would hang over the bottom mesh part of the sleeper at times. But just a few moments ago, we were sleep and then I heard a loud noise like something dropped and then I heard my baby crying at the top of her lungs! My child and the sleeper were on the floor and I lost my mind. I am assuming she rolled over and her weight made the sleeper fall. I have a queen sized bed and it is just us two that sleep in the bed. I am now going to return the product or maybe just use it on a flat surface. Be cautious please. My baby is fine and had no visable bruises, but I will take her to the doctor today to get checked out as a precaution. Some injuries are internal.

A Must-Have for Co-Sleepers

We bought the "deluxe" version of this product at a Target store, and it has been great! My daughter is now 3.5 months old and she sleeps in it every night. The light is really handy for those quick peeks at baby, but not so bright it wakes everyone up. The deluxe version has a hip positioner that keeps baby in place - I think it's worth the extra cost to keep baby from scooting/rolling around. Folds up easily for toting around. Sheet comes off easily to wash. Highly recommend!

I didn't get much sleep the first couple of weeks of my son's birth. I bought this sleeper because I was tired of having to get up from my bed over the the baby's crib to change and feed my son. With this sleeper, my son is able to sleep next to me and I do not have to worry about getting up and walking into the nursery. It helped save time and help me to get more sleep. I didn't find the mattress to be hard at all, like some one had written. It is more plush than the crib mattress. Best of all, I can take it with me everywhere we go. The only down side is that, my son is 2months old and will out grow it . I'm sad about that. My son really likes sleeping in it. I would definitely reccomend this product.

This is my daughter's bed until she's big/old enough to graduate to her crib. I love having her close to me at night. I can check on her quickly throughout the night without leaving my bed. It's great even for long babies. It's easy to travel with and only takes a moment to fold up and put away everyday.

This worked so well for me. I was able to sleep with my baby and could turn on the little light to check on him whenever I felt like it. Also, I was breastfeeding and getting up in the middle of the night was a breeze! I just had an extra pillow by my bed, propped it up, fed him and put him right back to sleep without getting out of bed. That little light was so handy too because I didn't have to turn on a big light or click on a lamp. The light on the sleeper turns on so quietly. I would highly recommend this product!

We don't use this in our bed, but in the baby's bed. We call it her bed within a bed. My baby WILL NOT sleep in her crib or basinette, she's a snuggler and even if we swaddle her, laying her out in a bigger space freaks her out. This is the first time my baby has slept in her bed since she was born and she's 9 weeks old. She'd sleep in her vibrating chair and her swing, but not her basinette or bed. The first night we put it in her baby bed and she slept 4 hours straight! She loves to lay in the corner, it must make her feel safe and secure and with the mesh sides I don't have to worry about breathing issues.
Just wish it was a little longer!

We received this as a baby shower gift and absolutely love it. We're very anxious parents and having our son safely in the bed with us was wonderful. It is very sturdy and stays in place so it safely protects your baby from being rolled on. It also has a nightlight so I could check on him if he was squirmy. I just wish it was bigger. He is two months old and has outgrown it now (his legs were too long) so he is in his big boy bed. I am so thankful that I had this infant bed though and cherish the time he got to sleep with us.

I have to say being a first time mom is very scary at times in the beginning. One of my first fears was her sleeping by herself in her bassinet or crib. So I used this in between me and my husband...we have a queen size bed and I'm 5'1 and he's 6'2 and it was a tight fit but it worked for us. Also this is a great travel bassinet. We would use it in the living room on our couch and in the office. I've also used it in her crib.
