I thought I was looking after the safety of my newborn when I purchased this. Turns out I was putting her in danger. At only 2 weeks old, she did not fit in it comfortably and I woke up numerous times to find that she had slid beneath the arm rests. Very dangerous. Stay away from this!!!

I bought this thinking it would help my 2 month old when in fact it turned out to be very unsafe. He is able to move his way down it no matter how secure the velcro is around him. I found him one night all the way down it with his face turned toward it, I was scared to death. Do not waste your money and listen to my review and the previous one as to how unsafe this product really is.

I was so glad when we received this for our son. it truly keeps him sleeping on his back, he likes to sleep naturally on his side. So far no signs of flat head on on the back of his head either.

Though I have not tried this model, I had the previous one with my first born. While all of my friends children had flat areas on their heads (regardless of alternating sides) my little girl had a perfectly round head. The visco foam is great! We of course alternated sides as well. We used the foam positioners to allow her to sleep on her sides while we kept our peace of mind. I will be getting one of these for my next baby. I recommend this to everyone!
