well i have heard other basses before and i thought this one might not sound as good as them but once i got it i thought i was right but once u play it and get it warmed up it sounds so much better!!

good for the casual player

I'm a pretty talented musician, so I'm a little more discreet about instruments like these. It's very good for someone who is just starting to learn, but I'd say get a better one after a year or two. It's good for just jamming, but I wouldn't recommend recommend using it as part of a band, especially in front of an audience. The amp is only 26 watts, which means you have to turn the knobs all the way up and even then its not that loud.
