Description

    Little tadpoles just learning how to swim will love this adorable bug-eyed frog float. The colorful green and yellow float is made of rugged 10-gauge vinyl and has a large lily pad top that provides safe haven from the sun. For maximum safety, the interior seat has its own air chamber with safety valve as does the outer frog support and lily pad. I bought this last summer for us to use at the pool. We don't have a baby pool in our neighborhood, so this came in handy. It's really really cute, and we got lots of compliments on it. He really liked taking the frog off of the front and playing with it. Wasn't too bad getting him in and out, either. Cute design and it held up really well. More than I can say for the inflateable pool we bought from [a different retailer]! Overall, a great buy.

This is certainly a cute floatie; we did get lots of compliments on it. My 7 month old is not a huge fan of it though, and I find it difficult to get him in and out of it by myself. We have had to tape one of the plastic tabs close because it leaks air (there are 4 parts to blow up separately: the tree, the base, the seat, and the frog). It also took up a lot of room in the pool, so I feel bad using it when other kids are around. The palm tree does definitely help with the shade, but it also gets in the way. My son enjoys chewing on the frog (luckily he has no teeth yet!)

All in all, I don't hate this but next time I get one I'll get one of the smaller, simpler floaties. This just isn't practical to take anywhere because of its size.

We purchased this item at then end September 2007 to take to the beach with us and our 5 month old child. She really loved it and the water. It was nice to be able to put her in the kiddie pool with it and the larger pool with it. We really enjoyed it and watching her play with the toy frog. We plan on taking it with us again when we go back to the beach this year and until she reaches the age of 5. I just wish the float would go past her being 5 years old safely.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the palm tree is always really bent over, but my son loves it and it made me feel safer when I was in the pool with him alone.
