Great Crib for the Price

I just bought this crib for my future baby. I had already read the reviews from this site [...] The crib looks great. I have to say that it is bigger than I expected, but that makes it look like one of those really expensive ones. The wood is a little darker than the picture shows, but is still beutiful and goes great with oak hard wood floors. [...] Also, easy to put together, but takes at least two people to hold the piece up as it goes together.

There's no need to spend hundreds of dollars on a crib; this one is sturdy and stylish and good quality. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great crib for the money, but when I received it, there were some deep scratches in it. The mobile and other attachables don't fit on it like other cribs because of the wideness of the railings, but I it serves its purpose.

BEAUTIFUL - with crazy instructions

I have to say this is the most beautiful crib for the money. It is excellent quality and looks like it costs a fortune. Actually I liked it so much with my son that I am moving his white crib (just like this one) into the other room for our new baby and bought him the cherry one. I have changed his into a toddler bed and it is awesome to say the least. It's low enough that I don't feel like he'll die if he falls out (which he did last night). The only problem is I think the instructions are a general set that is distributed with every Simplicity crib. When converting from infant to toddler stage I got so frustrated. I had the matress on the lowest level already and the instructions said to move the mattress to the highest level to make it a toddler bed. So I did that and when I went to attach the toddler rails I realized they were wrong...the matress should have been on the lowest level where it had been to begin with. Aggravating, but never-the-less I would buy again if were to have a third child because the quality and look are unmatched for the price...and it can follow them for years. The price is a small investment for a many years of use.

I love this crib. I got it a few months before I gave birth. The wood is a little darker than the picture but other than that it's great. Looks very expensive. Very solid piece of furniture.

My husband and I really liked this crib. We had it put together (my husband did) before our baby was born. We really liked the design and that as our son grew, he could also have the consistency of the same bed at least for a couple years. We are still in the crib stage but when he is ready will convert it over to a toddler bed for him. Our son actually preferred his crib to the bassinet we purchased. He looked like he was so comfortable in it from the get go. You might have some difficulty with bumpers but I got one that was rectangular all the way around, it was a bit harder to tie on than probably a regular crib would have been and the mobile was a bit harder to put on than probably a regular crib would have been but I think our son has really enjoyed this crib.

After lots of shopping for the right crib, I kept coming back to this one. It took a lot on my part to talk my husband into spending that much on shipping for a crib we had never looked at in person. I finally won the debate and the crib was shipped quickly and after setting it up in our little girl's room, we couldn't be happier. My husband admitted that I was right and is very glad that I didn't give up.

I was wary of ordering this crib based on some of the reviews however I am so happy with the final results.
I did have an issue with one of the crib legs, the hole drilling did not line up. Simplicity shipped a new leg within a week but when I received it, it was the wrong color. I called for another replacement which was delivered within 3 days. The second replacement worked out fine. [...] Once the crib was assembled, these blemishes seemed to disappear.
This is a beautiful crib and a great value when compared to other similar models. I was so pleased with the crib once we were able to get everything put together. It wasn't as lightly colored as it appears in the picture, it's a bit more of an amber shade with some wood variations between light and dark. But once the crib was put together, I actually liked these variations compared to an all over uniform tone.
The only thing preventing 5 stars on this product would be the need for 2 replacements. If it was stricly on appearance alone-I would rate 5 stars.

This crib is great for the cost. It is very sturdy and durable. It was shipped rather quickly and the boxes were not damaged. A few of the pieces had minor nicks in them but when I look at the crib now I don't see them anymore. It was rather easy to put together; I did it myself in about 1 1/2 hours with breaks since I was about 8 1/2 months pregnant (too impatient to wait for help to come home :) ) We have moved recently and had the crib stored for about a month. We didn't wrap it to protect the wood and with it being moved twice it hasn't picked up any additional marks or damage. I am expecting another baby in a few months and will definitely be purchasing another one for the new baby.

This crib is definitely strong/sturdy enough for a growing baby and toddler. I only gave it four stars, because this crib is DARKER than pictured...all our other nursery funiture is a true natural color, and this crib appears to have more of a honey tint to it. So, unfortunately, our nursery furniture doesn't entirely match, but I'll forfeit a bit of looks for the quality of this crib. We didn't have any problems with the shipping, and my husband assembled the crib without any difficulty.
