My mother-in-law bought this for my son and we love it. It really holds a lot of toys and looks so nice. We keep it in our living room and most people don't even notice that it is a toy chest. I gave it a four because I wish that the lid would open up a little more. But it is great for kids, the lid only goes down if you push it down so it helps those little fingers from getting smashed. As for the other lady's review about this item - while I was staying with my mother-in-law she bought one for her house. A few of the pieces showed up damaged, we called the company and they sent us a new one no questions asked. I would definitely buy from them again.

Quality of the product was good...real wood with the exception of a wood byproduct backing. Took a while, about an hour to assemble (did it by myself would recommend having two people set up) but overall really pleased with it's sturdiness - hope to get years of use out of it.

We received our toy chest in the mail today, and my husband put it together this afternoon. It took him over an hour to assemble due to incorrect directions, misshapened hardware, and poor construction. Also when we removed the pieces from the packaging there were dings and scratches all over the front and side panels of the chest. We finally got the toy chest together (although we had to drill new holes and use our own screws) but we will never be buying a product like this online again.

This toy box is great to hide and store all items and toys. The wood is beautiful, but it's too bad that the shipping process isn't that great. I furnished our baby room in all this cherry wood and every item that has arrived via shipping is knicked and scratched.

We could not be happier with this toy box! The color is so beautiful and it is a very solid piece. It is very large so it can hold lots and lots of toys! My three kids love the bench, and I often find them sitting there while they watch TV. I was pleasantly surprised that it took less than three days to be shipped to my house. There was absolutely no damage to it, and the set up only took about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this toy box to anyone!

THE PIECE IS WELL-CONSTRUCTED AND SOLID WOOD. HOWEVER, THE SHIPPING BOX IS SO FLIMSY THE TOP OF THE PIECE WAS CRACKED DURING DELIVERY.
TRULY UNFORTUNATE TARGET ALLOWS THIS TO HAPPEN.
