i have had this toaster for about a year it works fine but i still have not been able to get hello kittys face clearly in the toast...i collect hello kitty items so i have kept it but it does not make toast like the picture shows!!! and the toast defiantly comes out a little soggy!!!

I love Hello Kitty. I have had this for about a year....dont bother buying it to actually MAKE toast though.

The hello kitty face is made by having a huge portion on the bread that doesnt toast. I keep the setting on high and I am lucky if one side comes out toasty. The other side has nothing, just squishy bread not toasted at all.

I bought the Hello Kitty toaster for my daughter. I was dissapointed because the Hello Kitty face came out on one side of the bread & the other side was burnt toast. So, I decided to turn the toaster on & put it on the bagle setting for the bread. It worked! I got Hello Kitty on one side and the other side was not burnt. The Hello Kitty design comes out with lines on it from the inner frame. So it looks more like Hello Kitty is locked up. Dissapointed but cute idea.

Bunches of Hello Kitty products are on display for [price] in the Pinole, CA Target right now (Dec 1st) I toasted my Trader Joes French Toast in here...first I tried setting 4 plus hit defrost b/c it was frozen, it popped up but wasnt as toasted as I wanted so i put back in on 4 and reheat for a few more seconds and it was perfecto! Its such a cute yet functional item and looks great on my counter, but sadly no it doesnt make an imprint of hello kitty's face in my toast.

i love hello kitty
my kids have fun with this toaster too. it stays cool which is the nice thing.
the only down side to this product is, it is very bulky and hard to store.
other then that, its got so many settings, its durable, fun, i love it.

I love Hello Kitty with all my heart and HAD to have this toaster for christmas. When I got it, I immediately put a slice of WHEAT bread in it and waited for the toast to well, toast. One side of the toast was BLACK. The other side was nicely browned like normal toast should be. I don't know if this product is SUPPOSED to do that, but I don't exactly want to eat burnt toast with Hello Kitty's face on it. The only reason I still have it is because it's Hello Kitty and because it looks cute on my kitchen counter. Try using white bread instead.

I love this toaster, but when I first got it I put it on 2, & the bread was still white like when I first put the bread in there, did it again & put it on 3 & it was perfect. But the face doesn't show up real well, but next time I am going to set it on 4 & see if that helps. But its still really cute even if the face doesn't show up well. I love this toaster!!!

Awesome little toaster!! I have this for several years and it works great every time. 2 is the perfect setting for toast. Hello Kitty sandwiches always taste better.

MY DAUTHER LOVE THIS GIFT FOR XMAS 2006. SHE TOASTED A WHOLE LOAF A BREAD FOR SANTA TO COME BACK AND BRING MORE. THE TOAST DESIGN WHEN SET ON TWO DIAL IS PERFECT EVERYTIME. WHIP BUTTER MELTS so easy on the Hot toast,frozen pancakes works too.
