Must be a good one January 15, 2005 Reviewer:  Mary (NC)  See all my reviews >

I bought both my daughters a leapster for Christmas 2004. This cartridge was one of the ones we also purchased.
This is their favorite one.
There is a fireworks show where when you touch the screen with the pen (or finger) fireworks appear. Their favorite feature is when their name appears in the fireworks.

It is such a cute game.

Fun and educational! May 6, 2008 Reviewer:  I like coffee (Rochester NY)  See all my reviews >

My daughter got her leapster as a gift from her grandparents when she was 3. We have several leap games (Backyardigans, Dora, Princesses...) and this is by far her favorite. The games are set up so that you collect jewels (rubies, diamonds, emeralds) while completing learning tasks, like tracing letters or finding all words that end with a certain letter. The games are quick enough to be challenging and to keep her attention. Once you gather a certain number of jewels, you get to move up to different princess titles. My daughter is very proud of herself and loves to tell us when she has become a new princess. EXCELLENT GAME! You won't be disappointed.

Great January 26, 2007 Reviewer:  Cars Fan (KC, MO)  See all my reviews >

My daughter just received this game cartridge and really likes it. I try all her games out so that I can help her if she get frustrated. This is not only educational, but fun. It is also a good game for those that are new to the leapster system or video games in general. Not a lot of having to push multiple buttons and one time.

i bought this game for my now 2.5 year old and once she under stud how to use the system she loved it, the system is for 4-8 year old b/c the pen is a "stragulation hazerd" a/w the game lets you play as ariel? swimming for older children, it sings songs with the words highlighted, for reading, the menu is pictures so small children can understain it easly, my daughter likes to play the fire work game(you just touch the screen and it makes noise and fire works)while cinderella dances, the only real problem is that when she gos to do the letters the game it to drawn out of a process and keeps saying "fallow the green feet to the red feet", "that was prity good, try again,fallow..." it makes her mad because wile it is talking ot does not let get draw the line, it repeats the direction too many times. no matter how many letters or line she has draw. make her stay on the same letter for a long time. She hits that "home" key prity fast when she gets in to it. :0( i bought the game for the letters but it is still ok even thought she doe not use it for the inteneded purpose. would you do something that was good for you if it was not fun when you were 2? i am dissapionted that the system does not have a good storage system for the game or the system, thought i don't know how they are cared for when they are at the babby sitters or dadys house, after a time the system is not able to load game when put in intially, and freezes to were i have to take the game out to turn off the system, b/c the power button does not work, to turn it off, but works after that. I noramlly know that happens when my daughter keeps hitting the scrren, with the pen then starts yelling at it.
