I bought the night table last year to match the bed. However, I just recently put it together. Putting it all was quite easy, but when I put the plastic screws in the bottom part, it broked the hole that the plastic screw insets into. I love the color though. The part that was broken want be noticeable, so I am going to nail the rest together. I am going to purchase the chest next month to set off the bedroom. Despite the flaw, I still that it's beautiful furniture with a very nice tone.

I purchased two of these chests. They arrived quickly and were not hard to put together. I really like the style and color. I would recommend this product to everyone.

I love this dresser! sturdy, and very good. The drawers are small, but it's still great for the price! I plan on getting the entire set.

Positives- the color is GREAT. Instructions are easy to follow.

Negatives- after 1.5hrs of assembly I finished it and noticed that 2 pieces had cracks from shipping. I had to call the manufacturer for the instruction booklet. They forgot to include it in the box. ALL FIVE drawers are misaligned because of the cut of the wood. The dresser comes with a chocolate marker to "fill in" the scratches (which there were many).

For the price of shipping you would think they would get it down to an art.

Obviously for the price it's going to look better than its actual quality, the marker they provide to fill in little nicks/cracks will be useful if you purchase. It was fairly easy to put together. I've been using it for two weeks and it hasn't fallen apart. It looks good. I purchased it hoping it will last a few years before I buy a nicer bedroom set. And it does have a five year warranty. My only complaint-strictly personal-was my allergic reaction to the chemical off-gasses. The smell is strong for the first week. [...]

Unless you have a lot of space to pull everything out, convince a friend to help you, and a generally good demeanor to avoid yelling don't proceed. This isn't the furniture for the weak.

However, I was determined to get this entire set together. I started with the matching nightstands as a much-needed warm-up. This was definitely the way to go. Had I opened this box first instead, it certainly would have ended up with duct tape all over and me claiming that it's a nouveau take on how everything these days is stainless steel.

When all was said and done and I got it right-side up, it looked pretty decent. From afar.

No matter how well you hammer the little nails in, or how carefully you screw the little locks and bolts in, it's gonna look like crud.

The drawers won't align quite right, the hammered-on back won't stay affixed, and you might even lose a drawer here and there.

My advice: Just stack your clothes in a corner in your bedroom. It'll save you the aggravation from putting this monster together and the following disappointment.

I purchased the whole set. Some pieces from Target and others from Walmart. I had read the reviews and was scared about Targets shipping issues but my pocket book made the decision to buy for me. I got all the pieces faster than estimated, and all the pieces were shipped IDENTICALLY from both stores. All the furniture was in perfect condition. I thought it was packaged rather well. It was very easy to build and not long after we were using it for our things. For the money I spent I am MORE than satisfied. I think some people here got a string of bad luck or bad instructions!
