Came with cracked top

This item is well made and very strong.
It holds my 175 pound tv with no problem.
The item came with a broken top.
I temporarily glued and screwed a metal support brace to hold it together.
Easy to assemble took me 20 minuets.
I contacted the the company who makes it.
I purchased this product in December 2006.It is now march 22,2007 and I finally received my replacement top.
It took 14 and a half weeks to get my part.
The replacement top came badly scratched,but at least it is not broken.
I will now have to use wood putty to fill the blemishes in,
sand and restain the top.
The company showed no concern for me having to wait over 14 weeks for thier defective part.
Companies should learn to value their customers,with out us they would not be in business!!!
I feel this is very poor customer service and I will try not to purchase POWELL furniture again.
This is unexceptable to me.

This television table provides a classic look at an affordable price. Arriving only three days after I placed my order, the table was securely packaged. Other than two minor blemishes on the top piece (which will be hidden by the television anyway), the table pieces were in great condition.
The directions, while mostly clear, are typed in a very small size, and they could have been a bit more descriptive. However, followed closely, I successfully assembled the table in about 90 minutes.
The roomy drawer has two dividers in it (for stability?), so that would limit its usefulness for larger items. Without the dividers, the drawer bottom might sag.
Overall, this table is a beautiful piece. It's classic styling, affordability, and ability to fit in tight spaces make it a great addition to any room.

Solid wood. Received in seven days from when order was placed. I found it a bear to put together. Instructions confusing and I never was able to fully construct drawer but have it together enough to place in cabinet, I co not need the drawer anyway. Would I purchase again? No. I would gladly pay $100 more to purchase same piece intact.

Arrived 7 days before estimated date, was very well packaged (no broken or missing parts). Very easy to assemble, easy to follow instuctions. I assembeled it by my self in about 1 1/2 hours and I'm 65 years old. It is very sturdy and a beautiful piece of furniture. Thank you

I received the furniture and assembled it in 30 minutes. It was not hard at all to assemble this lovely piece of furniture. It is made very well - the wood is very sturdy. This is a very lovely piece of furniture. I would buy it again, if needed to.

Looks good and surprisingly strong - I have it under a 32" flatscreen that is prob. 180lbs. But was a total pain to build.
