I have been receiving these from my gift registry, and every time more come I get more excited about them!! I have not gotten any broken pieces. The online picture looks exactly like what I get. It appears form the price that Target may be putting them on clearance, and I think that is HORRIBLE!! I cannot wait to have a dinner party and show them off!! Buy with confidence, these are great dishes!!

When I first seen the set online I fell in love, and I was about to order them, until I read the reviews and realized they are not as rich looking in person. I can't afford them but I was going to buy them anyway. THANK YOU

There should be a negative star rating to choose from!

I was very excited about this set of dishes and waited anxiously for them to arrive only to be sorely disappointed. [...] The lines of the red paint are in no way circular, though they are supposed to be. Everything about the paint job on them is horrible. Not only are the lines of the red band in no way even/circular at the rim or on the inside circle, but on many of the dishes the paint was bubbled and/or pitted. On at least 21 of the 36 dishes I have ordered (6 are still in the shipping process) the paint is already scratched or chipped, several all the way down to the white ceramic. On one bowl I actually have a FINGERPRINT dried into the paint!!!! Also, the ceramic itself is severely dimpled on the top of almost every dish. On the bottom, the protective glaze is not even on the bottom rim of the dishes allowing the ceramic there to already be discolored. I can't even imagine what these poorly made dishes would look like after a couple of months of regular usage.
These will be boxed back up and taken directly back to Target. Unless you wish to spend [a lot] on dishes that look like you made them yourself in an intermediate pottery class, don't waste your money.

The dishes didn't look nearly as good in person as they did online. The red coloring on the china actually looks darker red online and very classy whereas in person it is cheaper looking. They were packed appaulingly with no care or consideration for the customer that had purchased them.......when paying for porcelain you would think they would appreciate that the customer wants to receive the set in one piece. As it was, we ended up with half a set intact, the rest of which were broken.

I love the dishes and I wish that I could just get them at my local store because I have ordered both the cereal bowls and the soup bowls, both have arrived damaged. I couldn't believe how they thought their packaging would protect the dishes! For what we pay for shipping, it's a complete rip off! I'm tempted to send everything back and start over. They may be a good deal, but [shipping expense]is almost not worth it! Shame on you Target!

Dishes are beautiful but bowls were smashed in shipping

I love the dinner and salad plates which are even prettier than the pictures. They all arrived undamaged. I am thinking of ordering more since I think they are a far better value than the Kate Spade ones which these resemble. The plates were delivered in 3 days without a problem. When the bowls arrived, every single one was smashed. Judging from other reviews I have read, shipping seems to be a recurring problem with Target.

I registered for these dishes for my wedding and was so pleased when I got them--they're even prettier than they look in the picture! They're a great everyday set, but dressy enough for parties, too. I get compliments on them every time we have people over. (And they're very durable, too.) Highly recommended!
