I have been very pleased with this set and have purchased a second set as a gift recently for a cousins wedding gift. She also has expressed her pleasure with the set.

My husband and I got these cute canisters for our wedding present about 9 months ago and I noticed that the smallest one has rust inside the glass lid and inside the canister itself today! What a disappointment! I'll have to check all the others now and buy new ones soon.

The item was what the bride had registered for on her list.
I was only unhappy with the high shipping and handling costs...cheaper price. My bill totalled ver expensive. I would have bought from our local Target but the items were not in the store. That hurts my wallet to pay an added cheaper price. I like shopping at Target and bought additional items for the shower at the store but the remainder had to be ordered online.
MY THOUGHTS...anything over a big price ordered should be handled and shipped for price.

We really like the nice stainless steel finish and not to have to worry about food reacting with the container. The lids seal really well which is great for freshness. My daughter likes her set in Florida as well.

I bought these at my local Target store, too (don't believe it when it says not available in the store) and I think I paid [...] less on sale. Yes, the gaskets kind of flip off (actually only on the two smallest ones which I hardly EVER use). I also bought a stainless "wine chiller" to store my cooking utensils in on the stovetop. What with painting the kitchen I wanted stainless accents. I'm happy with them but I too would like perhaps one larger size, or to have the set come with two large ones, one for flour & one for sugar. I mostly am in the flour one; everything else is strictly for Christmas baking so suits my needs fine.

i bought these about a year and a half ago, when we moved into our apartment. 3 of them are holding up wonderfully and flawlessly. but the one that we designated for coffee broke a long time ago. daily usage wore out the clasp. for daily use, i'd say get something sturdier. this set is fantastic for the price if you don't plan on opening and closing them every day.

we got these for our wedding and although the quality could be better they look very nice in stainless kitchen. Beware of rust if allowed to air dry in dishwasher around hinges, strongly suggest towel drying!!

I did not have the experience one poster listed with the silicone gaskets coming off, but I do have to admit that I am not overly impressed with the quality. The alignment of the clasp seems fragile although none of mine have actually broken.
That being said, they are definitely adequate, airtight, and attractive. Aside from mediocre quality, I wish they were bigger. It would be nice if the largest one could hold a full size sack of flour, but it only holds about half. I ended up getting similarly styled clear canisters in a larger size, and the ensemble actually works.

This is a great set. I've had mine for several years and have taken them with me from my first apartment to two other homes. The brushed stainless steel finish goes great in any kitchen and the airtight seal keeps the contents fresh.
I really like the clear lids so I can easily see what is in each and how much I've got left.

i've had these things for a few years now, but it only took a few months for me to hate them. the only reason i havent replaced them is because i hardly ever have to deal with them. the silicon rings fall off EVERY time i open one of these! they are such a pain and they just don't look all that amazing either. such a waste of money...
