I couldn't wait to get these canisters as soon as I redecorated my kitchen and put in Stainless steel hardware/appliances. For [the price] I really thought these would be nice. They claim to be 18/8 stainless. I was VERY, VERY disappointed. They feel flimsy and cheap. If you want NICE, don't get these.

I was embarassed to give these as a gift off my friend's wedding registry! I couldn't believe how cheap these looked and felt when I received them. You would think they were made of plastic.

They look nice, however if you are in and out of these kind of jars a lot, don't get them. My rubber rings that keep a good seal pop off every time I open one and then I have to sit there and put them back on. They're not glued on or anything. I don't really mind it because I hardly cook so they are pretty much there for decorations. Someone who cooks would be very frustrated by this model.

I bought these when they were on sale so they were totally worth the price! The only problem is that the rubber seal is not attatched in any way and sometimes comes off when opening . I love them, but they are also rather small. If you plan to use them for only occasional use pantry items like lentils or wild rice they are perfect, but don't expect to keep flour or sugar in them: your meausring cups won't fit!

I bought the biggest one of these cannisters.And even though I'm using the cannister,I'm not happt with it.I've tried everything I can and the rubber seal has got a very overpowering smell of chemical or something that I can't get rid of,And when I tried to store dry cereal in it,the cereal just absoured that smell.And I had to throw it out.I threw out the seal too.So now my cannister closes but is not airtight.

I bought these when they were on sale for $14.99. They were a great deal. They seal nice and tight, letting in no moisture. My only complaint, the largest size won't even hold a 5 pound bag of flour. Wish they came in even larger sizes.

Buy these in the store! I purchased mine for $14.99 on sale and the original price was only $19.99, not $29.99. I had these on my registry, but had to buy them because of the price! I love the sleek look these have and the clear lids. But just like anything else stainless, you have to be able to deal with fingerprints. All over, very satisfied!

I bought these when I moved out on my own. I love them. I wish they had a larger size. They seal wonderfully and have made it through my first apartment adventures and are now moving with me to my first house. Can't imagine trading them in for anything else.

These are so cute and look great in my new kitchen. They are kind of small though, and I needed to buy 2 more seperate canisters to be able to hold everything. They should put all six peices as one set. Be prepared to buy more. But they seal great and keep everything fresh.

We registered for these because we just needed cheap canisters...BIG MISTAKE! The lids have plastic seals in them and they started falling out within a month, so then they did not seal shut and our food got ruined...my advice...don't buy a canister set with plastic tops(though it is tempting to be able to see what's in it) because they all have those seals and you will be throwing them away in 6 months or less.
