I purchased four of these chairs a year ago for my dining room, and was thrilled at their quality. The solid wood construction gives them a substantial (and expensive) feel, the seat is a generous size and very comfortable, and the x-back is far more comfortable to lean back on than I had thought. The assembly was a bit time-consuming, but by no means difficult.

So I got a square table off of CL that was a distressed black and ordered 4 of these chairs in hopes that it would match and they did PERFECTLY! It looks like a complete set from P...... B... for a quarter of the price! I am sooo happy with these I would recommend them to anyone. They are very study, they don't feel cheap AT ALL and they were very easy to put together. My table seats 8 so I will definitely be purchasing 4 others shortly.

I ordered 2 sets of these chairs and they arrived within 3 days of purchase! I was suprised by the high quality of the chairs! They are very sturdy and they are also very easy to assemble. I put together 4 chairs by myself in about 2 1/2 hours (not bad for a woman). Glad I didn't waste my money at one of my favorite high end stores! I am going to purchase another set of these!!

I found a great pedestal table at P1 imports and these match it really well, and cost so much less than the others. It took about 30-45 minute per chair. The only negative is that two out of four of the chairs didn't end up level, even though we followed the directions exactly. Overall, a great find at a great price. Very sturdy and heavy.

If you are looking for this style of chair, look no longer. I looked at similar chairs at [..] and crate and barrel. I don't think any store came close to the price and quality, so I have to say I would highly recommend these chairs. I have kids and a dog. The chairs in my kitchen and they are constantly being used. I have had these chairs for a year and they look like new with a quick wipe down. They are comfortable and stylish as well. I usually do not write reviews but I felt compelled to spread the word about this buy!

I ordered 2 sets (4) and I couldnt be more pleased. I assembled the chairs in no time! Easy to follow instructions.
The chairs are solid and the legs are balanced; no wobbles and they come with plastic buttons already on the bottom of the feet.
The color is black with some slight distressed rubbing is a few areas...looks awesome.
They are nice in size too; seat size & back height are great, very comfortable and sturdy.
Im so pleased with the look for the price.
Totally recommend.

I was very pleased with this purchase as the chairs were high quality for a great price! I did have trouble with some peices missing in the package, but the customer service is very helpful which made it easy to handle. These chairs are really heavy and look great with my table!

These chairs arrived about 3 days after I ordered them, which was a WONDERFUL bonus because I needed them for a Memorial Day family get-together. (And that was via the standard shipping option, the only one available.) My daughter and I put the chairs together (ordered 6) in about 20 minutes per chair. The directions were super easy to follow, all the tools except a screw driver came with, and the hardware was perfectly labeled. The quality of the chairs is excellent, especially at the price, PLUS the free shipping, PLUS the 15% off. Wouldn't even consider shopping at a local furniture store to find this great value.

My husband and I bought 5 sets (10 chairs) of these chairs to go with a table we bought from a high end retailer. These chairs are just as beautiful as the chairs the retailer sold for 1/3 of the cost. I like the fact you can wipe them off with a wet rag and they are sturdy and kid friendly. It took my husband about 3 hours to put them together. We were missing some hardware for one of the chairs but my husband was able to go to the hardware store to get what he needed to finish the chair. We bought the chairs with free shipping and 15% off and they went on sale a week later and Target refunded us the difference in price. These chairs are a great value for the price, and we are very, very pleased with our purchase. I'm debating on getting two more.

I really like these chairs. Of the 8 I purchased, two however, were defective. We returned them with no problem. The other 6 are super sturdy and very nice looking. They complement my table so well. I have three boys who are extremely hard on things and I am not worried about them holding up. I would definitely recommend these chairs!
