These chairs are great looking. You wouldn't think they came from target. They have a satin finish. So they aren't to shiny or to dull. Very sturdy feeling, and everyone who has sat in them has found them comfortable. (as far a kitchen chairs are concerned)None of the chairs we had delivered were damaged and were easy to put together. We got 4 total and I put together two simultaneously within 30 min. The cross bars were the only part that I had to find the hole for the screw but the hole was there I just had to move the screw around to line it up. Once i did they were easy. oh, and don't skip the step where it says to sit in the chair before you screw in the cross bars. I did it for all our chairs and we don't have any wobbly ones.
I would say to any who are thinking about ordering these chiars that you won't be dissapointed. We also ordered ours when they were 15% off and had free shipping. Doesn't get much better than that. :) (we are ordering another set, so we'll have six total).

These chairs are almost identical to some we had seen at a high end retail store at about 1/2 the price. They are surprisingly heavy, very sturdy and look beautiful-the pictures on line do not do them justice. We ordered 6 and it took us about 2 hours to put all 6 together. 2 of the 6 had a slight wobble to them but it was quickly remedied by a little felt under one of the legs. I should also mention that those 2 were the first 2 we had put together and we missed the step that says, "turn the chair over and sit on it" to stabilize the legs before screwing in the last screws. I guess that little bit of added pressure really helps as the next 4 were perfect. The "antique" look is subtle and you can really only see the distressed markings up close. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

These are great, sturdy, very attractive chairs that can't be beat for the $! They'd be perfect for kitchen or dining room. One chair does have a small area of stain that seems to be rubbed off a bit on the seat, but with the whole overall distressed look to the chair, hoping it just blends. Happy with the purchase, may get more in the future... Just got two more, love them!

Love the chairs. Ordered them on a Saturday and they were at my door by Wednesday. Easy to put together and they are very sturdy. I found the packaging to be very secure and they were encased in several boxes to protect them. I would highly recommend them.

After stewing over whether to purchase 8 expensive chairs from the major upscale retailer [...] to go with the table I bought from said retailer, I looked online at Target and found these little jewels. If you follow the directions, they are so, so easy to put together and extremely sturdy. They match the table perfectly! I couldn't be happier and my wallet is happier, too.

These chairs are great!! Better than expected!! I read several reviews and decided to go for it and I am glad I did!! It took me 5 hours to put together 8 chairs by myself and I even made a screwdriver bit out of the allen wrench in the kit for my power drill so it went much faster than tightening everything by hand. It would have gone faster but my kids' cat kept running off with the wood screws in his mouth and I had to go get them somewhere else in the house. Love these chairs!! Look great with my oak furniture and really dress up my eating area. What kept me going was the fact that I got free shipping, they were on sale, and I saved about $200 per chair over the high end store. You can not go wrong with these!

I purchased these chairs and a table without seeing them in person and I am sooo glad I did. This furniture is better than things I saw at upscale furniture stores. They are much nicer in person and are very heavy and sturdy. I read all the reviews and made the descision to buy them based on the fact that everyone seemed very happy with them. I got the colonial dining table in warm brown to go with the chairs and it looks great. Very pleased customer!
