I've had these chairs for more than 2 years, and they are very sturdy. However, I've spent the entire 2+ years searching for cushions that don't exist for this chair! The dimensions are: 15 3/4" deep, 17" wide (front)& 15" wide (rear). If you don't mind chairs w/o cushions... they're a great buy.

I never write reviews unless I am extremely pleased or displeased with a product. These chairs are perfect - sturdy, beautiful and half the price of their [upscale store's] twins. In fact, these have a bit more detail with the turned-wood front legs. I got an [upscale retailer's] table at an outlet, ordered 8 of these, and my dining room is perfect. I haven't gotten around to ordering cushions yet, but the few times we've used the chairs everyone's been comfortable!

I orderded these on pins and needles along with the pedastal table (that now doesen't seem to be available) after reading all the horrid reviews of things getting damaged in shipping. That being said, everything arrived one one peice and I was completely satisfied and relieved!

These chairs are very high quality and match items from an expensive home furnishings catalog perfectly, yet were a fraction of the price! They took about an hour each to put together, but are well worth the effort!

Ordered 2 two packs April 2, 2007. At my door evening of April 4!!!! Two of the chairs went together perfectly and in no time, but one of the chairs in other 2 pack was missing thread bolts inside two of the predrilled holes. Returned this 2 pack to local Target and ordered another two pack! Arrived within two days!! Now all four chairs look great in my dining area! Glad did not order from the high end catalog that I've been eyeing for some time. Loved the free shipping which was the main reason I ordered these chairs online as well as the good reviews they have gotten! I can see why! Great finish, heavy, sturdy and classic design. Four nice chairs for $300.00! Can't beat it!

I purchsed two sets of these chair to go w/ a table from a high end store and was not happy w/ them. They are distress alot along the corners throughout the chair and I did not like that. There were paint drips marks along the top two of the chair and I just took them out of the box and they were scratched. Then when I returned them to the store the customer service respresentative was not very nice and did not make it easy to return the chairs.

We ordered 4 of these chairs about 2 months ago and have been impressed with them. They match the colonial table we purchased perfectly, and have held up very well. My only problem has been when my cat jumped up onto one and scratched part of the chair.

The assembly was very easy and took less than an hour for 4 chairs with two people.

I spent my entire Saturday assembling these chairs. Each chair takes about 45-minutes to assemble. Every chair comes with three separate packages of nuts, bolts, screws and washers. I had no idea it would take so long to put them together. I like the chairs, but by the time I got to the the sixth one, I was exhausted. Why Target doesn't sell them fully assembled with two in a box is beyond me. The box they came in was big enough for two fully assembled chairs; however, these chairs were not assembled. I guess that explains the price. If you have the time and PATIENCE, these chairs will look nice in your home.

I ordered 8 of these chairs after debating for a long time between these and chairs from [an upscale retailer]. The chairs at the other store would have cost me $1350. Instead, I got 8 equally impressive chairs for less than half of that cost. I am very pleased with the chairs, especially since I didn't see them in person until they arrived at my doorstep. Order them, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered these chairs online without seeing them in person first. I am very pleased with the quality and looks of them. I also ordered the Colonial Extension Table in Antique Black. Since the items weren't listed together, I wasn't sure if the finishes would be the same. They look fantastic together.
