I love these chairs....they look fabulous, wipe down easily (essential with a 3 year old) and they're sturdy without being too heavy. These chairs have been one of the best furniture buys I've made this year.

I was torn about ordering these chairs online. I usually like to test things out in the stores first. The reviews were good and they appeared to be of quality construction, so I decided to go for it. (Being able to return them to a Target store helped in that decision!) When they arrived, we were thrilled. They are beautiful and look exactly like the ones in other higher priced home stores. There is some assembly required, but it is super easy. Target has placed the hardware for each step in its own little bag. Step 1, 2, 3 -- that's it! We had all of ours put together in no time. The feet have those chair glides built in...so no hassling with sticky felt pads. They glide easily over our new hardwood floors...no scratching. I highly recommend these chairs! Our dining room looks like something out of a catalog now...thank you Target! Once again...another happy customer.

I purchased these chairs because I could not find a round pedestal black table set in a furniture store. I am very impressed with these chairs. They are very sturdy. The wood has a lightly distressed look in areas that matches the table. The backs of the chairs also curve outward naturally for your back, which is not shown too well in the photos. It took me a little over an hour to put 2 chairs together by myself.

I couldn't decide between these chairs and the "Asia Modern" so I ordered one set of each from Target. While they both looked great, and were both comfortable to sit in, these chairs won out for two reasons. 1) The distressed look matched my table more, and 2) the seat of this chair is normal size, while the seat of the "Asia Modern" is oversize, making it a bit clunky. I returned the "Asia Modern" chairs to a Target store without a problem, and ordered two more sets of these. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They are fairly easy to set up. Once you do the first one, the rest will be easier. The only thing you will need is a phillips head screwdriver. [...] Thanks.

Looks just like [upscale retailer's] chairs that we were going to buy. They are really nice especially for the price. We had an issue with a crack in one of the chairs but we just called target and they shipped us a new set and they will pick up the damaged set. That was really easy!
The first one took a little longer to put together but then the rest were a snap. We bought a nice high end table and didn't want to spend as much on the chairs. They match the antique black table legs exactly.
I think you will be happy with these chairs and if there is anything wrong they will replace them!

I have never taken the time to write a review, but these chairs are so great, I felt I had to. They are so well built, really heavy, and easy to put together. I purchased 8 of these for the same price as three from [an upscale retailer]. I even like these better!

I ordered eight of these chairs for a dining room table purchased from a very popular (and very pricey) store. They match the table perfectly!!! The chairs arrived quickly and were VERY easy to assemble - even with a 16 month old "helping".

I am extremely happy with this purchase!!!

I ordered 6 chairs based on the reviews and just received them yesterday. I am really pleased! All the pieces were in perfect condition and enough screws, nuts etc. were provided. They are solid, heavy, and well built. Perfect size for the kitchen or a casual dining room.
The finish is very attractive -- black but not too shellaced or cheap looking.
I have a little power drill so they were easy to assemble, but I can see how it would take some time with the tools provided in the box.
All-in-all, a great product. And the price can't be beat!

I have to say I was skeptical. I had never bought furniture over the internet without seeing in person first. I'm happy to say my husband and I were very pleased with the product. They are very sturdy, heavy, and look very high end for the affordable price. It took a little while to assemble each but they really are all worth it...and we get MANY compliments!!
