I purchased these to go with [an upscale retailer's] table. These are a total duplicate of the [upscale retailer's] version - only less than half the price!

Excellent quality, sturdy, beautiful and a great price!

Took about 30 min to assemble 4 chairs.

I bought 6 of these chairs to go with a table that I had refinished. They are a great value for the money...very sturdy and look great. After assembling the first one and figuring out how it went, the rest were fairly easy to do. They really do have the appearance of much more expensive chairs, and I have had a ton of compliments on them. I definitely recommend these...I love them!!!

We ordered 3 sets of these chairs to match a table we purchased from a furniture store and overall pleased with the chairs but really disappointed in manufacturer. [...] 5 of the 6 chairs were just in great condition, the packing is well done but also efficient. Well the 6th chair had misaligned nail holes for the seat. After 3 calls to the number for parts the first day and 4 the second, I gave up and called Target.com. They were just fantastic. They sent out replacement chairs immediately and are arranging for pick up of the defective chairs. Target really stepped up when it was not them who dropped the ball. I would definitely order online from them again. And the chairs are truly beautiful but the company is horrid for customer service.

I found a black pedestal table on clearance at another home store but didn't want to pay the $700 for 6 matching chairs. These matched perfectly!! I only ordered one set at first to make sure they would look right and were decent quality. They are great and I'm ordering 2 more sets today. I'm also getting the buffet because it's such an unbelievable deal. As all the other reviews say, these are VERY sturdy chairs. I had trouble getting one level, but I think it was user error and not the chair. My second one went together fine. It took about 15 minutes for the first and 5 minutes for the second. It's so easy to assemble I could have done it without the directions and you only need a phillips screwdriver. It comes with the other two tools you need. I'm really impressed with the quality. It was packed very well for shipping, nice sturdy but compact packaging.

Wow! I was impressed. The husband put them together (took some time) but totally well worth it. He loved them. Also go the matcing buffet table (very nice). Put the buffet in the family room as an accent piece and it looks great. All the pieces are very well made and very reasonable - I love Target!

This is an unbelievable deal. I was skeptical at first because I believe you get what you paid for, but in this case, the style and quality of this chair way exceeded its price. This same style chair costs $200 per chair from [an upscale retailer], and I was ready to spend that kind of money to get a high quality chair, but I'm very glad I didn't need to.

Good chairs overall. They are made of a heavy and durable wood that will stand up. But, get ready to spend some time putting them together. I have a power drill/driver and a socket set with a hex/allen socket and it still took me 30 minutes a chair. If you don't have the above tools, I strongly suggest you get them before you assemble these chairs. There are no plastic pads on the bottom of the legs as some earlier comments referred to.

Wow- these chairs are heavy! they are so nice. not difficult to put together at all. They match the black pedestal table very well.

Great chairs I purchased two sets. After assembling, did anyone experience open gaps within the small wooden bars that are attached and screwed in to the legs of the chair?

These chairs are very well crafted! To me the details are exceptional! They give this chair character. That's what made this chair appeal to me! Not to mention the quality of the wood as well. These chairs are a true value. Very comfortable!
Shipping was fast and well packaged! It took no time to put together after the first one which took about 20 min.
To my surprise, all the tools that are required to assemble the chairs have been provided for in the package!
The engineering of the holes and quality of the brass nuts and bolts are above and beyond what I expected.
The chairs measure at 38"H x 17"D x 17"W ( seat 17" square).
Target has out done themselves! The quality that they offer the consumers of today can rival any furniture company! with out breaking your pockets!
Please don't hesitate to buy! You won't be disappointed. I brought the Antique Extended Pedestle Table to Coordinate w/ the chairs. What a perfect match!
