The smaller of the three is really tiny. Got these for my boyfriends apt. The black looks good with his other "manly" decor. They are just a little pricey to me but I needed them fast.

i kinda agree with another reviewer about the structure, But, i think that the cubes are very cute, and i also purchased a very cute glass apple and a bronze finish small clock to set upon them. my problem was that one of the corners of the larger cube had come apart, probaly during shipping, DAG! but i'm good at fixing things up.

these were very sturdy and nice black color. they look great. i would have given them 5 stars but they were actually a bit smaller than I thought they would be from the pictures.

I LOVE these cubbies! Not overly huge, or too small either. Nice that they come in a set because individually, the price can really add up! They are a fine quality wood, and the black paint is rich and done well. They are the perfect decorating piece to display lots of smaller vases, candles, etc. [...] these cubbies just look AMAZING in my new "Asian-inspired" den. A worthwhile purchase!

I ordered these cubby shelves a few months back and they're one of my favorite items. The wood finish is beautiful, matte and super smooth. They're also very easy to mount. The mounting hardware isn't included but it only takes two screws per shelf (there are slots in the back of the cubbies that just fit over the screws and slide into place so you can easily remove them without having to unscrew things). This is a great functional yet beautiful accent set.
