I annually contribute to a local charity that helps underprivileged families by purchasing Christmas gifts for their children. I always like to give some sort of art or creativity set, and this year I bought six watercolor art portfolio sets, knowing that Faber is a good manufacturer of art supplies. I got the sets last night and they are COMPLETELY underwhelming. The entire set consists of 10 color pencils, a tablet with like 10 sheets of paper on it, and a water color brush, all in this plastic folder with handles. There are also no instructions about using the brush with the pencils (there are no actual paints), etc. I couldn't give this as a stand-alone gift, and so I just spent the morning buying a second gift for each kid to supplement this meager art set.
