I have had my eye on Corelle dishes for a long time, but the patterns always seemed so old-lady-ish. When I got these I wasn't sure about them either. They have grown on me and I LOVE THESE! I was replacing some stonewear plates that chipped almost instantly. These are really durable and do not show any wear even though we use them for every meal and they get washed in the dishwasher. I have 16 placesettings. These were well worth the money.

No complaints with Corelle except from the picture I assumed the second plate was the larger "salad/luncheon" plate. Actually it's the dessert/6" plate. So if that's not what you want, look elsewhere.

I bought these dishes as moved into my first apartment and I love them. They're durable, they don't scratch and they wash nicely. I only have one complaint, they could be a little thicker...

I needed to replace my old chipped everyday dishware so I looked at Corelle to see what I could get. Most of the patterns offered didn't match my style. When I saw this pattern it remined me of signal flags on our boat. The dishes are light and strong. They weigh less and take up less room than my old dishes. On the down side, the feel of the Corelle is not as smooth as my old old old Corelle. (1960s) Also the mugs are not Corelle and were made in China. This fact is not disclosed in the Target online description of the product. Since I try very hard to buy American every chance I get the fact that the Corelle is made here and is microwave and dishwasher safe is a big plus and the reason I bought the item.

I don't have the set, but I have a plate and bowl of this set. I have had them for two years and they have survived multiple moves and dorm life without a chip.
