Makes the floor and furniture surrounding it wet December 12, 2008 Reviewer:  Eileen "Mom to William" (Cold Spring NY)  See all my reviews >

This is cute - but it sprays water and leaves a wet mess on the floor and surrounding furniture.

Broke after a couple months December 3, 2008 Reviewer:  Nicole Bunch "Kiniki11" Real Name (St. Charles, MO)  See all my reviews >

I had this humidifier for a couple months and it stopped working. I know people who have Crane humidifiers with no problems but the one I got was junk.

Piece of junk December 1, 2008 Reviewer:  S. Chatterson Real Name (Michigan)  See all my reviews >

I bought this humidifier before I had my baby 2mths ago. Just now took it out of the box to use and it doesn't work. The power light does not even come on. Unbelievable. I doubt I will be able to return it. I guess I should have known it was a piece of junk most of the boxes looked like they had been opened on the shelf. Probably all returns.

Quiet, efficient, and durable November 16, 2008 Reviewer:  HH (Lincoln, NE)  See all my reviews >

I've had this humidifier for three years now, and now that I've moved to a bigger house, I'm getting another one! This is great- there's literally no noise when it runs. It's adjustable, so if it's really dry, cranking it up is not a problem. Every once in a while it will leak just a little off one side if I set the reservoir on crooked, but that's the only problem I've ever had with it. Fantastic!

Not as good as the others November 14, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of 3 (SC)  See all my reviews >

I purchased the penguin for my daughter. The vapor comes staight out of the beak instead of going straight up like some of the other models. You must set this high up or the vapor just ends up on the floor. I think I will try another frog or the dragon.

Can't imagine not having it! April 6, 2008 Reviewer:  VeggieMama "VeggieMama" (California)  See all my reviews >

My 2 year old would get a bleeding nose almost everyday. We live in a very dry area and with our doctor recommendation of a crane humidifier...we bought this design (figure he could grown up with it...cute, but not too cute). We use it EVERY night while he sleeps and he RARELY get a bleeding nose. When he does...it's because he has rubbed his nose too hard...not from dryness. We had it for 6 months now...with no problems.

Cracked on us twice now April 5, 2008 Reviewer:  Mommy "Andrea" (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

Cute design and easy to use, but we've had problems with it cracking twice now (on the sides near the white 'tux' part). The first time I thought perhaps we were being to rough with it during filling, but then after purchasing a second one, it did the same thing in less time(after being very careful with it). I am done with this brand of humidifiers no matter how cute they are.

We took a chance, and it paid off March 27, 2008 Reviewer:  PHM (Virginia, USA)  See all my reviews >

I must admit I got this humidfier for the "cuteness" factor. I am pregnant and having pregnancy-related sinus issues, so my OB recommended a humidifier. I wanted one that we could use for the baby once he is here, too. I had looked at the online reviews for this model and other Crane animal models and was a little hesitant to get this one, but liked it better than the other animals, so decided to take a chance on it.

I've had it for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier with it. I haven't had any trouble with moisture buildup in the mouth area (we typically have it turned about halfway up, which I've found minimizes the bubbling noise that the humidifier makes while it runs; perhaps the previous reviewer had it turned up higher?) or water leakage. It is easy to refill, relatively quiet, and has worked wonders on my sinus congestion.

We did notice early on that the moisture it produces doesn't seem to travel very far, so we moved it from a table across the room to my bedside table. We were nervous about it causing moisture issues with books and such that were near it, but it hasn't. It works perfectly, and we love it!

no problems x 4 months of use March 17, 2008 Reviewer:  J. Roenke Real Name See all my reviews >

We have been using ours for at least 4 months with no problems. The instructions require the unit to sit on a hard surface and not on carpet to avoid the motor burning out. This might account for some of the problems people have had. No leaks so far.
My sister-in-law has three of the frogs with no problems. The frog is freaky since the mist comes out of the eyes. The penguin mist comes out of the beak.

Poor nose design February 17, 2008 Reviewer:  Ian D. Tabb "The Pool Man" Real Name (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

Great humidifier, if it wasn't for the mouth. Water builds there and catches the mist and stops it from coming out. Drips from the mouth. Poor vapor coverage. I don't recommend this. Get one of the models where the mist comes out of the ears on top of the head. The hello kitty is the best performing.
