This stainless–steel pan offers a thick aluminum impact–bonded base and a clear glass lid that lets you keep an eye on your cooking. Hand and lid grip are both black plastic. This sauce pan is dishwasher safe.

I did not purchase this from Target online, but I did purchase the same exact pot a few years back from a store. It is a wonderful product !
The gauge is 18/10, which is a very good weight. I especially like the fact that the lid has 2 different sized holes for draining liquids out-works great for draining pasta-you don't even have to use a collander !
I was hesitant at first because of the glass lid, but it has held together very well. I actually somehow dented the lid on the side where the drainage holes are, but the lid did not crack or loosen.
I have been using the pan for a few years now with no problem.
I like the size so much, that I am contemplating buying another of the same size for cooking rice !

I boil water for noodles of some type 3-4 times a week and put off buying a pot like this for years.

After I received this from Target.com, I cannot be more satisfied. The price is right, there are some cheaper but the quality of this one is high. I am constantly amazed by how well it performs, and I don't need to dirty a strainer all the time.
