This thermometer is okay, but you can buy 1 thermometer that is universal for baby and 1 for the whole family and come out of it saving about 10 dollars

This has come in very handy and is very easy to use. I like having the options of oral, underarm or rectal attachments and that they are conveniently stored in the unit when not in use. That there's a separate thermometer designed with the wider end for safely taking rectal temperature is great.

My son was sick for the first time last week. He obviously had a tempature just by touching him but this thermometer never read higher than 85 degrees. Maybe I just happen to have a defective one. I tried it several time rectal and underarm and it still gave me innacurate readings. I finally used one of my thermometers to get his temp. Not happy with this product.

Bought this item because we just had a baby and needed one we could all use. It never has the right temp for any of us. I used the rectal on my daughter three times and got three different readings all very different from the first. I just got over the flu and it told me my temp was 95.1 then 96.4 then 100.1 one right after another. I got my old one out and it worked better. Not sure if the connection is bad on them but I do not recommend if you have a newborn.
