Had for 4 years & still love it!!

Reviewer:  Yoga Mom  (Tennessee, USA)  See all my reviews

My husband bought this for me at Target four years ago. I use it every day for making smoothies. I had a problem with the rubber on the bottom of the blade shaving off, but I called the company & they replaced it and told me why it happened: You need to let the motor stop completely before removing the cup. Since then, the only problem I've ever had was with breaking the little plastic notches off the cup itself. I also make sauces for wraps, milkshakes & it mixes my son's chocolate milk to a fantastic consistency. I love it and if it ever stops working, I will buy another to replace it. It's easy to use, convenient & easy to clean up after.

it was ok till it burt up.

you have to use alot of liquid with this blender or you will burn up the motor. (which i did) other than that it makes great baby food and drinks, scrambled eggs and omelets and mixes batter. Chopping...not so much. Full size food processors do a better job, and don't liquify what you are trying to dice.

Makes a great gift, I use it for everything, not only for drinks, cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Best blender I've ever had

Reviewer:  Famous Grandma "magic"  (missouri)  See all my reviews

I received this magic bullet as a gift and wasn't amazed with it. Until I started to use it. I now have the famous shake maker my grandkids love. Each can make their own favor by theirselves. We have used it so much, I've worn it out. I'm now ordering two before someone decides to discontinue it.
It chops nuts, onions, dates and is just perfect when baking. It's great for mixed drinks, shakes, malts, smoothies, and any other drink. Scrambled eggs done in a minute. They only let me give it 5 stars, it really deserves 7 stars on a 5 star scale.

Makes Amazing Smoothies

Reviewer:  Shachi2  (San Francisco)  See all my reviews

I'm quite surprised by all the negative reviews here. We've had our Magic Bullet for a few years and we haven't run into any problems with it. I love being able to make smoothies in the morning without any huge messes to clean up. Our regular blender is just too big & cumbersome.

I usually use a combination of protein powder, frozen fruit and juice to make the smoothies. They come out amazingly smooth. This may be an infomercial product, but I love it!

big disappointment

Reviewer:  Disappointed  (TN)  See all my reviews

I was so excited about this product. Then, I tried the chichen salad recipe... it pureed everything at the bottom and left big chunks of chicken up top. It did the same thing to parmasean cheese. What a disappointment. :(

HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Reviewer:  LARS30  (OR,USA)  See all my reviews

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE "MAGIC BULLET" I BOUGHT THIS ONE WEEK AGO AND IT IS ALREADY BROKEN! I BOUGHT THE BULLET WITH THE INTENTION TO MAKE MY DAILY SMOOTHIE. WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK THE RUBBER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BLADE ASSEMBLY HAD WORN OFF THEREFORE MAKING IT UNABLE TO ENGAGE THE BLADE. PRETTY PATHETIC!!!!

waste of money

Reviewer:  skydiver "freeflyrese"  (austin, tx)  See all my reviews

Of course, nothing like you'll see on TV. It purees everything at the bottom of the bullet without touching anything on the top. Will not chop, dice, or do anything "amazing". Used twice, then placed on [an auction site].

Great for Purees

Reviewer:  Lucas's Mom  (Tampa, FL)  See all my reviews

I use the Bullet mostly for pureeing my son's baby food. It works great for that. I also use it occasionally for sauces, like pesto. I love it for small amounts. If I make something larger, I just use a different appliance. I gave it 4 stars because I sometimes have to shake it to get it to mix everything evenly. Other than that, I am so glad we have it.

Magic Bullet Leaks or The Magic Mess Maker

Reviewer:  Stanford Griffith  See all my reviews

Real Name

I have tried my Magic Bullet Express many times. Every time it has leaked to the point that whatever is in there winds up in the machine and on the counter and floor.

I know I am attaching the lid correctly and tightly. I have checked that every time after the first flood (orange juice and organic raspberries). I've even tried it with just water, shaking the heck out of the cup with the blades screwed on. It didn't leak a drop until I attached it to the base. Then, the flood.

Off to go clean up the last stick messy from the Magic Mess Maker!
