We got this as a wedding present and use it all the time. I don't see what everyone is complaining about, I have had no problems whatsoever, I've used it for cheese, and it worked fine, I used it for crackers,fruit, and just about everything else, I've had no issues at all with it,we love it.

I don't understand why some of you are having issues with this! I make smoothies and iced coffees with this thing all the time and I've had it since last Christmas! It blends ice very well, I have never had an issue with it leaving huge chunks.

Okay so I had the old school big blender that I never used, and I recieved the magic bullet for my birthday and use it more in one day than I used my previous blender in a year.
You can't expect something so small to crush huge ice cubes, and to keep the motor from overheating I usually tap mine with a hammer first to pre-crush them, but the resulting smoothie is amazing.
It can be a little loud when crushing ice or frozen strawberries (I wouldn't use it when my roommate is sleeping) but I wouldn't expect a blender to be quiet in the first place.
I use this product everyday and I totally recommend it to anyone, especially college students like me:)

Yet I am only 13, I love this. I don't own one, but I use it at a friends. We make everything with this. Yeah of course you can't expect it to blend ice, and you have to shake it sometimes. But in a regular blender like I have you have to take a spoon or somethin to unclog the blade. With this, I nor her have to. This is a really good product for a good price. Go give it a try, I priomise you it will be worth it. Also, my mom uses it to make alcoholic drinks with her friends. If that applies to you HAVE A PARTY! So, my review is recommending this roduct strongly to anyone who is looking toblend smoothies or anything liquidy.

I used it for about a few months then I just stopped cause it's so loud! i used it to grind meats and the fat got stuck to the blade which was cool cause then i made healthier hamburgers and such. Yeah the noise just got to me.

It did well for making a mousse out of whipping cream and chocolate syrup. It did okay the first time for making pesto sauce.
it did NOT, however, do well for making smoothies (they were anything but smooth--giant chunks all in the top half and every time I wind up having to drag out my full sized blender to finish the job, so I have TWO units to wash).
I also had the same problem as others with the rubber on the bottom of the blade attachment burning off (and I did NOT take the thing off before the spinning stopped). I was greatly disappointed in this product. it doesn't even grate parmesan cheese!!

My husband bought this for me at Target four years ago. I use it every day for making smoothies. I had a problem with the rubber on the bottom of the blade shaving off, but I called the company & they replaced it and told me why it happened: You need to let the motor stop completely before removing the cup. Since then, the only problem I've ever had was with breaking the little plastic notches off the cup itself. I also make sauces for wraps, milkshakes & it mixes my son's chocolate milk to a fantastic consistency. I love it and if it ever stops working, I will buy another to replace it. It's easy to use, convenient & easy to clean up after.

I was so excited about this product. Then, I tried the chichen salad recipe... it pureed everything at the bottom and left big chunks of chicken up top. It did the same thing to parmasean cheese. What a disappointment. :(

This is a great little blender. My husband and I use this to make smooties and other drinks of that nature. It is perfect for our Manhattan apartment (space saver). The blending cups then turn into cups - much better then having to try to shake any drink from a large blender glass to a little glass (maybe not the pretties option, but definately functional).

At first it worked great. I used it almost everyday. Great for making homemade baby food. The product was guaranteed for 1 year and it broke shortly before the 1 year mark. This also happened to two of my friends who also have a magic bullet. It's a great idea, but not a good product. $60 for less than a year of use. Not worth it to me. Spend less money and buy one that's not magic bullet brand.
