customer beware September 12, 2006 Reviewer:  customer (Bradenton, FL)  See all my reviews >

I've had two magic bullets that have burnt out. The first one my roomate burnt out and she went and bought another thinking she must have done something wrong. I tried with the second machine to make a smoothie (banana/pineapple), and after 2 seconds it started to smoke. The turning mechanism in the base was completely loose. Unfortunately, my friend did not keep the receipt and we are combined out [a lot of money], 2 worthless bullets and despite the knowledge of duh not keeping the receipt filed away do not want to pay another 40$ for a base replacement.

Compact Blender September 11, 2006 Reviewer:  Satified Customer (Davie, Florida)  See all my reviews >

It is great blender for small soft food or mixed drink portion. It works great for new mom who wants to make baby food at home. The blades are easy to remove and clean compare to a regular blender. If you want to chopped any hard food, to make big portion, mixed drink for a lot of people, it is not the right equipment.

Fantastic machine August 27, 2006 Reviewer:  Juanita Doolin "Pessimist" Real Name (Kansas City)  See all my reviews >

This works great for everything it says it will do. You must read the instructions. Chopping is done with a pulsing action, just like with a food processor, or you get mush, just like with a food processor. I have used this machine everyday, sometimes several times a day, for two years. (I got it off the shelf at my local Target)I haven't had any problems with it. I make frozen drinks with it every night. I use the whole ice wedge from my ice maker, but you can use the crushed ice also. I use it to chop and dice onions, garlic, coffee beans, and hard cheeses.I think $59.99 is a bargain, if you get it for no other reason than to make frozen drinks and smoothies, think of the money you'll save at $3 to $6 a drink that the stores charge.

I can use it for everything! August 8, 2006 Reviewer:  Paige's Mom "Leslie F." (Atlanta, GA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I got this product during Christmas last year and it is amazing! I can make anything with it. I have made smoothies, blizzards, and can even make baby food for my daughter. It does chop up thngs very well, so if you need to just chop, the Bullet might overdue it, but it gets the job done!

GREAT FOR SMOOTHIES July 31, 2006 Reviewer:  Making a Change (The Heart of Virginia)  See all my reviews >

I bought this to use as a chopper for cooking - and I was very disappointed. But then I tried to use it as a smoothie maker and it works GREAT!! It mixes the frozen fruit up perfectly for a very healthy and delicious treat!!

Nice concept if it did not break July 22, 2006 Reviewer:  Missy "Missy" (Sacramento Ca)  See all my reviews >

I loved to use the bullet when it was actually working. Though it did not do everything that is professed to do. The juicer portion is a joke to use and I never found that it chopped to well. It was really really good for sorbet and smothies etc. It is difficult to keep the blades in allignment and the seal often caught in the blades warping the plastic groves beyond repair. We ordered a replacement once but after the cups started breaking and the blade warped again I threw the whole system away. What a dissapointment.

I love this thing July 18, 2006 Reviewer:  Taquita Eta See all my reviews >

I'm away at college and it is perfect for me and my roommate. We whip up delicious smoothies all the time and its in the perfect amount for the two of us. I can chop nuts and make whipped cream I love it.

Stinks July 15, 2006 Reviewer:  L. Ball "Safety conscious mom" Real Name (DFW, TX)  See all my reviews >

I got this for Christmas and it's absolutely worthless. The tiny little motor wouldnt even whip up chocolate mouse made from cool whip and liquid chocolate. I can only imagine how useless it would be with anything as difficult as ice or nuts. Feel free to try it for yourself, but I found the Magic Bullet to be not so magical.

$2.50 A Month... July 10, 2006 Reviewer:  Maria in Syr (Syracuse, NY)  See all my reviews >

I have to agree ... I have used this gadget almost everyday, it never left the counter and It just broke hence my reason for being here I am getting another. I did'nt rely on the receipe book I did my own, from soup to nuts and at the cost I figure $60 is $2.50 a month over 2 yrs.

A starbucks Iced Mocha is that a day, I made my own and they were wonderful. And the one cup cook and serve is great. I hope I get another 2 years out of this one....
