My daughter recently celebrated her 6th birthday. As part of her gift, I decided to redecorate her room (as a surprise) as she has had the same theme since birth. I am not too into really girly motifs (no pink here!) and found this set to be the perfect compromise. She already had a twin size platform bed and pillowtop mattress (her furniture is white). Both the sheets and the comforter were the perfect size. I painted the wall behind her bed the periwinkle color found on the back of the comforter. We also got the lamp, curtains, set of 3 mirrors and the display boxes to hang on the wall. Everything looks so cute and put together. My daughter absolutely loved her surprise when she came home from school on her birthday and saw her new room!

The comforter stitching was falling apart when we took it out of the bag! Extremely poor quality! The comforter was a gift for my daughter and I did not receive a receipt. I tried to exchange it but Target would not exchange it without a receipt. Obviously, Target does not stand behind their products. A good retailer would exchange a product that is defective even without a receipt! As a result of this experience, I will think twice about shopping at Target in the future!

My daughter, although just a baby, believes she is all grown up. This set just made her day. It is clean and crisp. The set is well made. I washed it before putting it on her bed and it still looks brand new. Plus it looks amazing with her white bedroom furniture. We got the canopy, lamp, body pillow, cute little storage box, extra sheets and the wall squares. I set it up several nights ago and she still goes to bed thanking me for her big girl bedroom. Highly recommend this set to anyone with a very grown up little girl of their own.

I purchased this set for my 8 year old daughter for her upcoming 9th birthday present. We absolutley love it. The comforter and sheets are very soft. We painted her walls lavendar to pick up the lavendar shades in this comforter. We used the door curtain as window treatment and another door curtain was used to cover her bookcase. The door curtain on the bookcase hides well all the toys and books on the shelves and makes her room look more uniform. She slept like a princess the first night in her room.

I have had the same bedroom for 5 years and wanted something new. Though I haven't bought it yet, I think it is the cutest thing ever and the accesories totally match :-)

My daughter picked this out when we decided to redo her room with new furniture & accessories. We absolutely love it & have no problem with the size of the full comforter. All the items are really soft & the sheets wash well. The sham being like a pillowcase is best for my 11 year old daughter, since she still doesn't get the concept of pillow shams being for looks, not to sleep on...The only thing that frustrates us is that this line is being phased out in stores in our area & we're having to do a scavenger hunt to find the rest of the things she wants. The bonus is that we found the additional sheet set for under $8.

This is a beautiful comforter, at a great price! Fabric is really soft. Colors are great. I'm really happy with this product.

I purchased this set for my 9-year old daughter. I was disappointed to find the twin comforter was a little small for her bed (mattress + box spring). The dimensions are 63X86. Her old comforter (from [another retailer]) is 68X86 and fits her bed perfectly. To fix this problem, I am going to sew a 60X80 queen size bed skirt to the comforter. I was also disappointed about the pillow sham. It is nothing more than a pillowcase (same print as comforter). Haven't washed anything yet. Otherwise, I love this set. Bought lots of coordinating accessories. Can't wait to see how they look when we put the room together.

Originally my 12 year old wanted the preppy quilt but when I saw it in the stores I was afraid it wouldn't last. There is alot of loose stitching on it. I saw the bed in a bag set instead and took a chance and brought it home. She loved it! We put it on a twin mattress that is a top bunk and it fit beautifully. I can see where it may not cover a mattress/box spring though a dust ruffle in any of the colors would fix that problem. The sheets were soft the first time we took them out the dryer and the sham is functional and pretty. We bought the door curtain and used it instead as window curtains since the curtains for this set are made more to match the quilt. We also bought the mirrored shelves and the body pillow. All look great together in her room. I like the thickness of the comforter and knowing when necessary it can be washed in the washing machine makes a big difference in deciding to purchase it. My daughter loves her new room!
