We needed 4 replacement chairs for a 39 yr old maple kitchen table; the black contrasting color looks great! The chairs were easy to assemble, are very sturdy with a decent sized seat and the backs fit your back nicely. They are attractive enough to use throughout the house; in fact, I'm ordering 2 more for the computer room.

These chairs compare to [upscale stores], but at a fraction of the cost. Assembly was quick and easy, but I suggest using a power screwdriver or screw bit in a drill. They are substantial feeling and we will see how they wear. For [the price per] chair they are hard to beat. Based on this experience I'm tempted to buy a matching server/buffet, but those reviews are less glowing.

I am but a mere housewife and put these chairs together easily. The parts were grouped up into easily marked sections labeled "Step 1," "Step 2," and so on and so forth-VERY easy. I didn't even need the hubby to tighten the bolts, did it all myself. The end product is beautiful and looks great. I have the round black table that go with them as well. We have an uber-small dining area, so this set really adds a casual dining feel to the room and I think we'll use the room more. I would recommend that you buy these. Great quality, low price.

Having read the reviews from others we decided to order 4 of these chairs. They arrived in 5 days with free shipping. My husband was out of town and so I had to put them together myself. The instructions were very easy to follow and although I did not put them together in 15 minutes, maybe 30 each, they were quite simple. They came with an Allen wrench and an extra packet of bolts, screws, etc.
I was very happy at the great quality they were. Heavy and solid. Very pretty at my antique oak table.

After a bad experience with some Target benches, I opted to give them another try and purchased this set of chairs. I was pleasantly suprised. They went together quickly and easily and all the parts are solid wood. The finish has so far been durable and easy to clean. Overall they are very elegant looking with high backs and nicely contoured 'butt grooves', which makes them suprisingly compfortable for wooden chairs. I am in the process of ordering a second set today. The only tip I have is to add a set of felt 'feet' if you have wood flooring.

I couldn't be happier with these chairs! I bought them at the store and whipped them together quickly. The quality is shocking for such a low price! They are sturdy, no wobbles and look just awesome with my pine table! I did have to take one set back because the chair was broken, but there was no trouble at all making the exchange. It was worth the hassle because once I got these in place, along side the X-back chairs, my table was very pretty and interesting with the different patterns. Love them!!

NICE LOOK, BUT LEG PIECES do NOT fit together!!!!!!

The smaller leg pieces had angled specifications that were incorrect and holes drilled on the wrong sides!
This was made in Malaysia. If you bought it from a high end store you might get a quick part replacement, but scared to see what they would send me when they cannot get the SPECS correct the first time!
Lovely looking, great price, and one chair looked and worked out find the other was trash.

We purchased 2 sets of chairs a few months ago and we are very satisfied with their look and quality. We received the items within 5 days. There were no scratches or dents, and assembly took only about 15 minutes per chair. They are made of solid wood and feel sturdy. We went to various other furniture stores looking for dining chairs until we found these and these chairs definitely look much more expensive than what we actually paid for them. The only thing we added to the chairs were felt pads on the legs and seat cushions to add some bright color to the room. This is a great product at a great price!

Not as scary to put together as the reviewer in May thought

After reading ALL of the reviews, I decided to purchase these chairs sight unseen...a little scary. What else was scary was the long winded review written back in May from someone that might have scared others from puchasing these beautiful chairs. They went together very well, the other review from Nov. 24th was right on, in addition do part of step 4 before doing step 3. Put front legs in place, then start the screws, then put the cross legs in place and tighten all the allen bolts..lastly tighen all the wood screws. Very easy!! Very happy with product.
