Great little cart -if you... March 15, 2009 Reviewer:  Wood Guy (Evanston, IL)  See all my reviews >

Ok, I'm a professional wood worker and wanted a quick, cheap prefab'd stand that could be a done deal in about 20 mins. If you're willing to buy something that need's assembly I'll take it you're somewhat competent.
Here are some tips to avoid all the problems others had:
1)Glue all screw threds and holes (but not the cams) this will strengthen the surrounding wood.
2)Glue all board contact points.
3)Shave, scrape or scratch any black finish under a contact point to allow the glue to grab wood.
4)Temporally Tape loose bracing pieces while assembling.
5)When putting in the 4 longer wood screws, prod around with the screw to make sure you’re going into the predrilled hole (or you’ll crack the wood).
Good luck!

Good Value --Great Price August 18, 2009 Reviewer:  Sarah M (St. Paul, Minnesota)  See all my reviews >

I have been having a hard time locating a TV cart with wheels that will accommodate a flat panel TV. I need a cart with wheels to move the TV between my living and dining areas. I postponed purchasing a flat panel TV until I located this cart. My old TV cart has handles which are 2.5 inches high and could not fit under a flat panel TV that is longer than 25".

I saw this cart in Target, and figured at [..] plus tax, I had nothing to lose. Also, weight is important to me. I am a 61 year old woman and need to be able to lift what I buy. I had no problem lifting the box into my shopping cart and carrying it up a flight of stairs when I got home. When I opened the box to assemble the cart, I was very pleased to find out that Sauder Woodworking Company is the manufacturer. I purchased and assembled Sauder shelves and videotape cabinets many years ago.

It took me one hour to assemble the cart. It should have taken me 30 minutes, but I was tired when I did it and wanted to make sure I did everything correctly. I put all of the hardware in a separate dish so I would not lose the many screws, pins, and cams. I also assembled the cart on my dining room table. This made it go easier than if I had assembled it on the floor (which I did with other projects many years ago). All I needed was one Phillips screwdriver to do the assembly. I am glad that the assembly does not require glue, as this can be messy. The product comes with two braces that go under the top shelf and strengthen that shelf.

My 32" Panasonic Flat Panel TV (weighs 29 lbs) fits nicely on the top shelf. There is plenty of room for the base of the TV on this cart. The ends of the screen stick over the sides 3" on each side. I think this cart could also accommodate a 37" flat panel TV.

If you do not have young children (who could climb on the cart and try to push it around and possibly knock over the TV), this cart is ideal if you need to view a TV in more than one area.

Perfect for College May 28, 2009 Reviewer:  College Student (University of North Dakota)  See all my reviews >

I LOVE this tv stand! I bought it for college life in the dorms. It was cheap so I figured I'd get the 9 months of freshman year out of it but 3 years later it's still in my bedroom! It has moved 4 times and is still just as sturdy as it was when I put it together. It was VERY easy to assemble and I only needed a phillips screwdriver to do that. I've recommended it to everyone who needs a tv stand! Great value! Definately worth more than the cost!

A horrendous catastrophe! November 22, 2009 Reviewer:  CaliMom87 See all my reviews >

Wow, this got 4 stars are you serious?
This cart is NOT even worth the 20 bucks. It's so bad that we were too lazy to return it. Upon opening the box, I discovered that one of the pieces of wood was completely broken in two so with the handy help of super glue, I managed to get it back into one piece like it should've already been. Little did I know that'd be the least of my problems. The screws wouldn't even go in all the way and split the wood. Since the screws only went in half of the way we just left it like that in hopes of it holding together. It was really wobbly when I put our 27" onto it and for fear of it falling apart we haven't touched it ever since. Shoot, I wouldn't even dare to dust it.

Specs are WRONG August 11, 2009 Reviewer:  T (KY)  See all my reviews >

There is one major problem with this cart. The dimensions listed are WRONG.

The stand is NOT 17 inches wide. The stand is 15 and 9/16 inches wide. When you want to put a DVD changer and A/V receiver that are both about 16 and 3/4 inches deep on the lower shelf, that makes a big difference. The correct dimensions are listed on the 2nd page of the instructions, but you don't see that till you unpack the unit.

The quality is what you would expect for the price, but know the measurements of your equipment before you waste your time and a trip.

GREAT BUY May 6, 2009 Reviewer:  XboxGirl (Jersey)  See all my reviews >

For a cheaper price I expected it to be cheap. But actually its pretty durable. I eventually had to buy a bigger TV stand for other reasons, but I kept this stand and use it as a table. The only problem with it is that the black chips off, but Its not a huge problem considering it costs a little more price. Whoever claims it "fell apart" obviously doesnt know how to put it together since i've had it for 3 years.

Get what you pay for July 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Teacher Mom "Kellye" (NRH, TX, USA)  See all my reviews >

After putting the stand together and placing a 27" tv on top, it's a bit wobbly. However, attaching a piece of wood across the back as a brace will fix that problem. All in all it's worth [the money]. I put it in my young son's room and it's the perfect height.

cheap, sways back and forth, screws will split plywood May 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Loves Pugs (DC)  See all my reviews >

If you're use to assembling things, this will be a piece of cake for you. But I'm not. So, it took me awhile to put this together. Be careful about screwing things in because the plywood splits easily. (Please, remember that when you're putting this together) I've got a noticeable defect that I've managed to hold together with some super strong glue. The cart does sway back and forth. <--- (Read that twice). So, DO NOT put anything on this cart that is expensive and will have you rolled up in a ball crying if it falls off this cart. My old TV that I've had for 13 years sits on this. So, if it falls off, I wont' be devastated.

But is super cheap. So, you know what they say. You pay for what you get. That said, it does do the job and matches my decor.

Parts Malfunction May 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Miwako Raeshawn Davidson "The Bookworm" Real Name (Atlanta, Ga United States)  See all my reviews >

I thought this would be a great purchase for the price. I like the look of the cart and it does hold my television, however there was one minor flaw. The molding that you assemble in the front of the cart does not match up with my cart. Its smaller, and for whatever reason it looks like someone took a saw and my cart is longer on one end than the other. I have disessembled it and ressembled it twice and the end result is still the same.
