We've all used Chisel, and many of us are familiar with fine point markers. But these Bullet-Tip dry erase markers... they are the stuff. When I was working as a substitute teacher (for too long) I had the good fortune to use a wide variety of markers on a wide variety of boards, and these were, frankly, the easiest.
Essentially, these allow you to write with a flat hand. Chisels tips require you to write at an (uncomfortable for me) angle. Additionally, Chisels tips can be difficult to use when writing towards the bottom of the board (chalk is worse). Bullet tips, though not perfect, are about as close as you can get to not bending over and looking funny in front of 23 teenagers.
I can't vouch for their longevity, though, as I was never in a classroom long enough to see how quickly this brand dries out.
