We got this on a friday and I installed it by myself in about 8 hours on Saturday. It really looks amazing and appears to cost much more than the price @ Target.

I would recommend getting a 2*4 to use as a support if you are installing yourself, stud finder and a power miter saw if you need to trim the pieces.

One last note, MAKE SURE THAT YOU DRAW OUT THE SYSTEM ON THE WALL AS THE INSTRUCTIONS RECOMMEND. This made visualizing everything much easier.

Overall, a GREAT VALUE!

I purchased two of these systems for a twenty food long closet and I LOVE THEM! My construction guy had a little trouble installing it...not much though...once he figured out everything...it went together easily. I couldn't be happier with the quality and stability of this organizer. My clothes have never looked so good.

I liked this product so much that I ordered another one for another closet. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I can't believe how much more room I have in my closet. We had an old-fashioned closet with cupboards on top and drawers on the bottom, which we ripped out. There was texture on the walls underneath the cupboards/closet/drawers combination, so when we ripped everything out, we only had to patch a few holes and then paint. Putting it all up was quite a project, but my husband and son managed to get it done in a day--and even reinforced it with the extra hardware. It's never going to come down, and it looks beautiful! Every day I look at it and think I'm dreaming!

I think there needs to be more information and/or a better description given on the website for this product. It's very vague to say it fits a 6-10 foot closet without giving any information about different configurations and or the size of the pieces--what they don't tell you is that it only works with straight closets, not L-shaped walk-in closets. I ordered this closet system hoping I could somehow configure it for 2 walls of my walk-in closet but the corner posed a problem. Even for straight closets, you have to cut the pieces down to size to fit your closet, which is much more installation than I was expecting. I would say that unless you're very handy yourself or have a handyman to do this for you, this is not a simple DIY project. Fortunately I ordered it when they were offering free shipping because I would have been disappointed had I paid a more price for shipping on something I bought blindly off the website. From having seen the wood pieces, I can say it would have been a beautiful finished product had I been able to use it, so I would definitely recommend it for quality of the material and beautiful honey maple color. I was sad to return it, but glad that Target only charged a less price for return shipping. Make sure the system works with your closet before you order.

This is a nice closet system, easy to install with a little know-how. Can take a little time of you dont have proper tools.
Spend the money on the Deluxe Model. NO DRAWERS OR DOORS for this unit!!!
Hanger bars scratch easy...the deluxe model may come with Metal hanger bars.
Time, Money,acessories & Shipping may prove to be just as costly as going to local closet subcontractor of a few dollars more and no hassle. Good Luck.

This system was installed by a young contractor who had some troubles installing it. It was a bit more complicated than either of us thought.

The system arrived in seemingly good shape (no damage to the box) but we found a ding in one section and another wood trim bent (almost warped). However, he was able to work it out and installed it fine.

I do really like the closet, though, and am glad I purchased it. I should have selected the design which has the rod lower on the right side with more shelf space above, plus at 5'6" I have to reach pretty high to get clothes off the rack. I'll probably get a little stepstool as I grow older! :)

We purchased 2 of these for a 7 foot by 8 foot master walk in -takes a while to install but worth the effort. We spent about 4-5 hours doing one system. 2 professionals would probably have finished in 2 hours or less. We used a miter saw but there wasn't a lot of cutting. We had hardwood installed first and these really look great with the new oak flooring. Placed one on each side and will be purchasing either 2 tower kits or another closet kit to finish the back wall of the closet. Comes with plenty of hardware-we were able to anchor in the studs in our closet. Looks like we spent a lot more and I am sure we added value to our home. Wish I could get my husband to put in all the closets. Very satisfied with the result-but you need to be fairly handy to do this yourself.

Just ordered this week and it came within a few days, but when it was left at my door it was damaged just from looking at the package. I can't believe the UPS guy still left it! Wood was crushed in one part and a huge chunk of the top corner was completely broken off! Will write a better review if I can actually open it without being damaged. Nevermind putting it together.

Very easy to build, very good instruction, but better to purchase primer shelving system. I purchase both of them and I am happy. Thanks for good instruction and good product.
