I love this item. My newborn used it every night and it makes it easy for dad and othes who can't swaddle well to get baby snug! I didn't have the same problem in the wash as the previous reviewer did, I just secured the velcro to itself before washing. Only thing I wish is that it came in a lighterweight fabric for summer babies, especially since I am in Florida. I would hightly recommend to friends.

it is winter, but my baby is sweating in this one...plus she is 3 months old and barely fit into it...quality and overall good, for babies that like to be really warm :)

bought it and never used it. my baby likes to move freely and sleep with his hand up near his face, so if I wanted him secure I'd swaddle him instead with his hands free to move.

I've had a problem with the swaddle part of the blanket riding up when my baby moves, so I check on her, and it's in her face or over her face part way. I attached the swaddle part correctly (through the loops and with the velcro) but it doesn't seem to make a difference. In the end, I folded down the collar-like part of the swaddle piece and moved it lower on the back velcro, and that seems to work. Otherwise, I love it- especially for my winter baby!

We first learned of this product in the hospital because that is what they put all their newborns in. We are on our 3rd baby and I wish we would have had this with our first one. The best part of this is that I can lay my baby on his side at night and he doesn't move a muscle. He doesn't even roll on his back so I don't have to work about his head becoming flat the back. Also, common sudden infant movements do not wake him up at night because his arms are all bundled. I now buy this at everyone of the baby showers I attend.

The Halo sleepsacks were our favorite bedtime wear when we brought the baby home from the hospital. The swaddler kept him bundled, the fleece was nice and cozy, and the zipper makes diaper changes so easy.

I always thought I would never need one of these, that I could just wrap my baby up and swaddle him myself. Well, my twins were born a month early, and these sleep sacks are amazing. They used them in the hospital and sent us home with them, and I am so glad we have them! One of my boys likes his hands closer to his face; so, I can adjust how tight I wrap it and where his hands are. The other likes to be wrapped up tight! They both calm down and feel secure and sleep ten times better in these. I would absolutely recommend this product!
