yes this game has a monthly fee. but it is worth it, the fee is reasonable. With the exspansions and the 50 characters you can have fun making. there are cool people on, and there is a lot to do. so if you buy it ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

This game really expands on the original and the new races are fun to play. As for the people that didn't notice the monthly fee,it is right there on the box. You can purchase game cards for one month at a time or go whole hog and get up to 6 months at a time which brings the monthly price down to about $13.

Lol, you got sucked in by the trail too? I thought this game might be ok just 'cuase of all the talk, then I played the trail and I was hooked. It reallys is a great game and I'm going to try to get it (I also want to try to get this up-grade pack so I can have a 'good guys' Shadman). Anyway, since you can buy time cards with no strings, I think I'll load up a card whenever I feel like playing and not at other times (less money goes to waste on unused time).

Well I didnt know this game had a monthly fee to it. Thats kinda stupid since your already spending money on buying the software. I hope this game is worth every penny. If not Im returning it :) I sort of like the free trial.

Yes, you do have to pay a monthly fee and there is no way of getting around it. It is around $15 per account. You can have up to 50 characters on your account though. This game is a blast, I think it's well worth the money. My husband and I enjoy playing this :)
