I bought this fan/light for a camping trip this summer. I was very disappointed. First, it is very difficult to insert the batteries and it runs only on batteries, there is no attachable power suply cord or anything like that. Then, it takes a lot of odd shaped batteries (the big ones, C's I think). By the time you put the batteries in (which you need a screwdriver for) the lamp is getting very heavy. Then, the lighting part of it is fairly small. I wish I could return this item, but we broke it trying to install the batteries. I do not recommend this item to anyone.
