The is a great piece. I get lots of compliments on it. It doesn't come with any mounting screws so be sure to have some on hand. Great price too. I saw it at a contemporary store for over double the price.

I think this is an awesome idea! It is great for saving space [...]I have owned many betas(siamese fighting fish) in my life and when I first got them I did a lot of research on them. They are origionally from a very crowned environment! THEY LIKE SMALL SPACES!!!! Why o you think in fish stores they are never in larger tanks with different fish? They like small bowls!! This is a cool idea, and not harmful or cruel to the fish!!!

I had been looking for a shelf to put a fish bowl on , on the bathroom wall. I love this it mounts directly to the wall. It is a great place to keep a fish bowl beacuse it is nice to look at and dosen't take up space on a cabinet or table. I have two small children and they love to look at it yet it is out of their reach. My cat likes it too!

This is cute. I have to say I was a little surprised that I read over the 'acrylic' part. But... with a little boy who is going to grow up it's 'safe.' I also didn't realize that it was going to have a flatside. Haha. But how else would it have worked! Surprises or not, I love it and can't wait to go this wkend with him and pick up our water frogs!!!

I wasn't real happy with the way the fish bowl looked when I received it, especially since I had to end up paying out money. To most of you that isn't that much, but I am a college student! The quality of it looked very cheap. The return process was a pain as well compared to other online returning processes that I have been through. I am big Target fan but this item definitely struck out.

I bought this fish bowl for my beta back in 2005. My poor fish has past away but the bowl is still in perfect condition. I was worried about it because it's plastic and I was worried about it falling off the wall while filled with watter but it stayed up there forever, it's easy to take down and easy to clean. I use to clean it once a week. Also I put in some shells to give it some color and not look so plane. Even with fish, shells, and water it stayed up perfectly on my wall. Never have had a problem.

Another reason to keep this bowl away from sunlight is, not only the algae problem, which another guest mentioned, but sunlight will kill a beta. I am guessing they get something similar to sunburn. You do not want to make the same mistake I made 4yrs. ago, when I put my daughter and son's betas in my bright kitchen. They weren't in direct sunlight but my whole kitchen was sunny. Learn from my mistake, keep the poor fellars outta the sunlight.

I like this item but it's not very sturdy. It's a great idea but with it only being plastic I am nervous that it might fall out of the wall and kill the fish and soak my rug.

I've had one of these for about a year and I love it. I don't have to clean it very frequently at all. If you are cleaning the bowl once a week you need to re-evaluate how frequently you are feeding your fish because that seems excessive. This is a great way to dress up your fish bowl and make it a neat conversation piece.

I have had my fish tank(s) for over a year - ALSO, I have had the same fish in each one - I have not had to replace the fish. The only reason I decided to write this was because of the ratings it got. I have a beta in each one and you change the water just like any other tank. Everyone who comes to my house loves it and asks where to get it at! It is definately a unique idea and my fish are definately happier their than the small bowl in a pet store!!
