I got one for the office, a friend's apt. and one for home. Everyone that sees them LOVES them. These bowls are true conversation pieces. I love them!!!

How much water? August 9, 2007 Reviewer:  TT See all my reviews >

To those who have purchased this fishbowl- how much water does it hold? It looks like it would be between 1/2 and 1 gallon but I wanted to check before I purchased it.
Thanks.

Not good for fish April 20, 2009 Reviewer:  Lily Bixby "Lily" (Nashville, TN, USA)  See all my reviews >

It's a creative idea but, as a keeper of many fish, I would never recommend something like this for anyone wanting to keep a happy and healthy fish. The ammonia levels in the water would get higher quicker, which can be deadly to a fish.

How many gallons of water does this bowl hold? There are many different opinions on the tank size necessary to keep a betta happy, and it'd be easier to judge if this bowl will work if one could more easily compare it to other tanks.

I love the wall tank, it looks great. I hung it in my daughters bathroom. i've had beta fish through the years in smaller tanks and as long as you change the water, use distilled water and the beta water conditioner that you can buy at any pet store the beta should be fine. They do not need a filter, that lady's crazy. My last beta lived two years. Hope this was helpful..

I returned these because they just were not what I wanted. They were plastic and just didn't look right in my livingroom. I think they would be great for a kids room or somewhere else.

Must be cleaned often March 10, 2007 Reviewer:  GirlyGirl "GirlyGirl" (New Orleans, LA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I have one of these, and I think it's great for my Siamese fighting fish (sometimes called a betta fish). The only bad thing about it is the water gets yucky after about a week. So, if you have the time to clean it often then I say go for it.
