This statue is even better sitting in my home than I thought it would be, especially for the price. It is heavy, durable, and is antiqued/weathered nicely. Although it is made of some sort of resin, it could easily be mistaken for stone. The detailing on it is lovely, especially in the face and head. We received it as a wedding gift and I absolutely love it! It can be used as a candle holder, but it is beautiful standing alone. Highly recommend this!!!

This is a great statue, the picture does NOT do it justice. I was searching for other variations of the Buddha statue, saw this the other night in Target but decided to do a little more searching. When I was browsing on the Net today, this came up and truly it looks much better than on this picture, and have come to realize that for this price, this is by far the best one I've found. It looks like it should be much more expensive. If you want a Buddha statue, this is a great choice because it looks good alone and with a pillar candle. Hope this helps!

I just picked this up yesterday as a surprise for my wife. It is roughly 18 inches tall and quite solid. It's made out of resin, but it's of a pretty good quality. The antiquing look is better in real life than in the pictures. All in all, short of going to a Zen garden center and buying one of the hand carved statues, this is the best for your money.

You'd think they would post a size in the description, wouldn't you? It looks like it would be great in my garden, but I need a better idea of its true size. It could be anywhere from exactly the size of the picture (like 2 or 3 inches), to 3 feet tall or more. Well, ok, probably not 3 feet for such a great price. LOL Can any of you guys who have this tell me how tall it is? Thanks for your help! :)

I love this depiction of the buddha. It is much better looking than others way more in price. It looks great holding your favorite candle. This is one of my favorite pieces of art from all over the world in my home. You buy now says buddha.

We bought this Buddha to place on our fireplace hearth. It's really pretty and looks good with or without a pillar candle. We're using an off white battery operated candle and it looks great lit or unlit. I just wanted to point out that our buddha which we bought at the store is black. The picture on the website looks grey. I think the black makes it look richer.

the Buddha looks great, looks like it should be heavy but it's really light, the collor is darker then the one shown on the picture,
I love it
